"Although the bidalah dynasty was very short-lived and almost was forgotten, there was one major proof that survived to prove its existence, it's a literary work from that Kingdom, It was said to be written by court poet Satyaki, his work was more peculiar from the ones among his times because of the way it's written, instead of poetical poems, it's in fictitious prose as if it's written in modern times

It's Satyaki's 'stolen garland of love'

The work is a documented love story of Sakhi and Sagara, Sakhi is a young maiden living in the palace, she was the 3rd queen's neice who was sent to the palace with intention of getting married to one of the princes by her father, the powerful merchant/minister and head of the trade guild, just like it was intended Sakhi, with her peerless beauty does make a prince fall in love, but he wasn't the one her heart desired. the one who fell for her was a ruthless prince, Aadhirana Deva, who doesn't hesitate to kill and the one she fell for is a kind prince, Sagara who was nothing but sweetness.

Before she can tie the knot with the love of her life, Aadhirana Deva requested an engagement with her, the one which came with a command from the king that she couldn't refuse. so she had to accept it no matter what, the ruthless prince was happy but Sakhi wasn't. so she decided to make the prince Sagara the king, together they eliminated every political rival and soon sat as the king and the queen. The broken-hearted ruthless prince revolted, he became so cruel that he slashed everyone who went against him, even the one he loved, so he rebelled against the newly appointed king and queen, he, just like he intended, took the throne into his hands.

The heart-wrenching tragedy ended with Sakhi's death and Aadhirana's coronation, but we weren't informed of the consequences after Sakhi's death, it was predicted that Aadhiarana did rule the kingdom really well and people did enjoy his rule, but Saagar, Sakhi's king revolted against Aadhirana and soon waged a war, the war so deadly that every citizen was starved to death, the war which made heavens curse at humans, the war that filled every nook of the country with blood and the war that soon ended bidalah's glory

And the golden dynasty, soon became forgotten and erased, as if it paid price for the prince's crimes...."

"Chanthira"

"Chanthira are you not listening??" The girl nudged her friend beside

"Oh c'mon I'm reading a super-cool story in a super cool voice how could you not listen?!!!" She whined at her friend

"I've already read that book Heera" Chanthira answered nonchalantly as her black coal eyes focused on a specific check shirt guy at the corner of the room, everyone seemed to be admiring the historical pieces but her. She was staring just at him only.

"Are you not moved on yet?" Heera asked with concern, she was about to get an answer until something caught her eye, there was another girl besides the boy her friend liked. Heera, being surprised, blurted out a question

"I thought he was single" Chanthira's face darkened at this, she turned his eyes away from the young couple and said "I wouldn't have been so hurt if me that he wasn't interested in him, but he chose to lie that he hated love, only to get into relationship a week after" she took a deep breath

"That lie hurts me more"

"Ignore them Chantee, look at this story before us" Heera held her friend's face and turned her so she can see what she was aiming at.

Just like Heera intended, it did catch Chanthira's eyes. Not the story of course, but the floral necklace before her, it was white in colour, filled completely with sculptures of night-flowering jasmines, it looked as if a heavenly apsara made it with all her love, so mesmerising that it's impossible to turn eyes away.
