As the sun set for the day, I had been settling into my new environment. Bowser seemed to be insistent that I stay down under the castle until I make my way up helping him around the place. Mostly I passed the time doing small tasks around the castle, cleaning up, Etc. I've grown to have an excellent companionship with the humans and the koopalings. Although sometimes they aren't the best at being nice.
I sat and i listened to the lava boil on the second floor balcony. I waited for Bowser to come around before venturing into the castle, I was in no hurry to do anything yet, I needed to see how this situation would play out, and see what I could do to make things a bit better for the castle.
Once again, the castle was bustling with all sorts of chaos. I spotted Bowser Jr and One of his siblings causing havoc on their little sister. I sighed and continued walking around. Out of nowhere I run into Bowser's chest, Straight up.
"Hahahahaha I scared you!", he exclaimed as he folded his arms and looked down at me, "Anyways, We should walk around and get to know each other more.", he chuckled as he extended his arm to help me stand up, I took it and he yanked me to my feet.
As we started waking, I noticed Bowser would stare at me steadily, And he's break the contact if I looked over.. very strange but we continue.
"so where are you from?", He chuckled as he looked me up and down, "I can tell just because people around here normally don't dress in all black", He chuckled louder, "It shits you though", He smiled and nodded
"Well, nevermind that, I just have no idea where I am, or how I got here." I shrugged and sighed, I looked up at Bowser who was listening intentively, I open my mouth to say something, But before I can say anything I'm interrupted by Bowser
"But I'm glad you're here!", he smiled and put an arm on my shoulder, He smiles at me and winks.
A blush creeps upon my face as I return the smile and slightly chuckle, then dart my eyes the other way.
"I just like to make music, And I do a little bit of sorcery", I paused as his eyes widened a bit and he smiled
"Then you may have great use here", He quickly interjected, He then looks over to the door and he opens it and holds it open for himself and I.
The cool wind blew across my face, The gentle breeze dance in my hair as I find somewhere to sit in the grass, I stay quiet and stare at the stars an the moon.
Bowser seemed to enjoy the view as well, He sat down next to me and he sighed and lay in the grass, Looking over at me.
His eyes locked with mine, Which made my head race. I smiled gently and he smiled wide at me again.
"I like you," Bowser said softly, "I just have a feeling were gonna be great friends." He pat my back firmly and smiled at me and then turned the glance back to the moon.
"I do too," I smiled and hid my face a bit, Turning away.
It started to get dark out and the moon appeared to grow brighter as Bowser and I conversed about many subjects, Laughing and smiling nonstop.
He's not as threatening as I'd have imagined at first, Things simply were good. I've never really felt more at home.
