Mending

Hazel's pov

After a car ride of comfortable silence we arrive at my Dad's house and I can see both his and Stiles car, I smile at the sight of my old Jeep which belonged to my mother in the driveway, Mischief always loved that car, I sigh and turn to Xander who is looking back at me.

"You know as much as I'd love to sit here and look at you all night , but you can't just sit still, you have to find a way to handle it" Xander says.

"Look, your right , I'll handle it like I handle all of life's problems. Ignore it until it goes away" I say and Xander chuckles.

"Come on, you were very excited to come visit them, I know your nervous because you and your dad didn't leave on a good note the last time you talked but we're here now it's time to make things right—.., are you even listening to me" Xander says

"Me pretending to listen should be enough for you." I reply but open the door regardless and Xander smiles proudly and also gets out.

We are now standing on the door step and Xander looks at me encouragingly as he holds my hand and with my other hand I knock on the door, after what feels like days even though it was a few seconds , the door swings revealing my Dad, he looks shocked and for a second I thought he was gonna shut the door in my face.

"Hazel?!?" My dad asks and I nod with tears in my eyes, he immediately smiles and pulls me into a hug.
I let out a sigh of relief, he smiles and shakes hands with Xander then invites us in.

"Wow so you two are still going strong...that's good, thank you Alexander for looking after my little girl" my dad says

"Well it's easy, she's the best part of my life" Xander replies making me smile but before I could say something a voice interrupts me

"Hazy??" Stiles asks and I stand up and turn to him, he and I talk and text so I wasn't that nervous

"Hey little bro" I smile at him and he immediately attacks me with a hug,

"So you're back" he says smiling

"Yep, oh Stiles I don't know if you remember him but this is my boyfriend Alexander Argent" i say and he waves at Stiles and shakes his hand

"Argent??as in Allison Argent" Stiles asks and I nod

"Yeah she's my younger sister" Xander says  and Stiles eyes widen

"Oh you know when the Argents moved to town I did think you were related as it's a rare surname but I thought it was a coincidence, now that I think about it you look a lot like Chris" Dad says but before Xander could reply there was a knock on the door, Dad goes to open it and comes back in with a familiar boy

"Guys I gotta head down to the station but we should get dinner together this weekend" i hug Dad and bid him goodbye.

"Hazy do you remember Scott??" Omg that's why he looked so familiar I smile and hug Scott

"Omg Scott you look so grown up, Scott meet my boyfriend Alexander Argent" i say and Scott's eyes widen just like Stiles a few moments ago.

"Argent??" Scott asks and I nod, and excuse myself
