Alpha Wolf: The pack leaders are the alpha male and female. These two animals are dominant over all the other wolves in the pack. The alpha male and female are the only wolves that breed and produce pups in the pack, and they also get to eat first at kills.
Alpha Female Wolf: Also known as a Luna wolf is the most important female member of a wolf pack. It is also often called the alpha female of the pack. As the most important female, she is responsible for taking care of the younger members of the pack and ensuring that they can grow up comfortably. Which is me.
Beta Wolf: The beta male is the "second in command," dominant over all but the alpha. While the positions of mid-ranking wolves are somewhat fluid, the beta generally enjoys a more stable existence. The term Beta wolf refers to the wolf that is sort of second in command. It is the highest rank in the wolf pack, just second to the Alpha wolves. The beta wolf will typically be the highest ranking male wolf after the Alpha.
Omega Wolf: An omega wolf can be either male or female and is the scapegoat, the lowest ranking member of the pack. The omega lives on the outskirts of the pack, usually eating last. The omega serves as both a stress-reliever and instigator of play. Omegas are at the bottom of their respective packs as they do not have much power or rank.
