Blake's Pov: Chapter 4

Mrs.Cruz's math classes were always boring. Why can't I be moved up to the advanced class? I would want to if it wasn't for the fact that I would be a total nerd and lose my spot as the quarterback. It wouldn't just take away my sports career but, it would also take away my chances with Ashley.

Ashley is the nicest person you could ever meet. She's never boring, she always makes you laugh, and every person she meet loves her. What would I do just to spend one day alone with her? How can she love me if she knows I have a zodiac sign on my arm! That's another thing, this morning I woke up with a Leo mark on my arm.

I thought it was just my little sister trying to play tattoo artist or something but that wasn't it. The sign wouldn't come off. Does Ashley like me? Does she think I'm just another dumb jock? Would I ever have a chance with her?

"RING!!!" The bell rang it was time for science. In math Ashley sat behind me but in science she sat right next to me. Maybe, I can talk to her or she can talk to me or........ Well, I don't know! Either way I had to talk to her. I walked in and sat down a couple minutes later Ashley came in with 2 of her friends and sat down. Are teacher always arrived 5 minutes late so I had a chance.

I was about to say something but Ashley beat me to it. "Hey Blake.....um can I um, talk to you after class? I was shocked she wanted to talk to ME? "Yeah.....sure." "So see you after class." I just wanted class to end already. Wait what if it was bad news???

(50 minutes later)
Class was over and Ashley was waiting for me outside the door. "Hey Ashley." We had plenty of time because we had a free period. Ashley grabbed my arm and took me to the janitors closet and locked the door. "Blake, I have to tell you something." My eyes widened. "This morning I woke up and....." I got worried was she, no she wasn't. "I had something on my neck."

Did she have one? Was that why she had her hair down today? She turned around lifted her hair and there it was. A Gemini sign right on her neck. She looked like she was about to crying. Telling me about this was probably hard for her. "I have to tell you something to." "I know that you have one to your not the best hider." she smiled and I was relieved. "Am I the only one who knows?" "No. Hayley has the Virgo sign and she's the one who found out about me."

I was so confused why was Hayley so desperate to find the other people? "She told me to look for more people and I found you." "How many people have you found?" She look worried. "The only people we've found were you, me, and Hayley." She and I walked out of the closet. "Blake can you look for more people I'm just worried times gonna run out and....."

"I'll do my best Ashley." I put her hair that was dangling in front of her face behind her ear. She smiled. She walked away blushing down the hallway. Don't stop believing was playing over and over in my head. I had finally done it.
