hey hey !! welcome, ty for taking time to check out this book. I barely know how wattpad works but I really wanted to write smth about the Ditto MV. The MV was literally so good aghh, i genuinely teared up and i never cry watching things. The song is so addicting too. I'm not the best at writing but hopefully it won't turn out too bad ^^

This intro will contain some basic info on the story as well as a bit about me, the author. sorry if it's a bit long. Upload schedule is once every 1-2 weeks on Saturday. May be more/less depending on my motivation/spare time.

As mentioned previously the story is loosely based on music video for Ditto. It's partly my interpretation of the video + combination of theories i found (comments/yt videos/articles). It might not align with your interpretation. The story also won't 100% follow the mv, I will change minor details to my liking (e.g. to make the story flow better/be easier to write).

NewJeans members will not be represented extremely accurately in this story. It's basically an AU so there are a few changes. A major change will be their age; i will be making them all the same age (19 kr age / 12th grade) to make it make more sense that they are all in the same class and are all friends. I will try make personalities and appearance as accurate as I can but it probably won't be extremely accurate since I'm just writing for fun.

The story will be set in Korea bc the MV is. im not too familiar with kr culture so it may not be accurate. ill try research somethings about kr schools, culture, food etc. where relevant in the story. once again this is just for fun so dont expect a super accurate depiction.

This story does use fonts which may not be available on all devices. If you see random empty boxes it means the fonts dont work on urs :( Dont worry tho the only things that will use fonts are chapter titles, headings, and a few quotes. The actual story content will not use any fonts so you will be able to read it.

in terms of kpop, i started listening to kpop in 2018. tbh at first i hated it lmao but eventually i grew to like it. some of my first kpop songs were DDU-DU-DDU-DU by BLACKPINK, Love Shot by EXO, SOLO by JENNIE, and IDOL by BTS. although i do listen to some of their songs, im not an army or exol. i am still a blink but i dont rly stan them that much anymore as i did in 2018-2020. im mostly a girl group stan, theres not rly any boy group i stan. i like some songs from enhypen, txt, stray kids, seventeen, nct, and bts but if u ask me to name the members i cant lmao.

the kpop groups I stan include: NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, TWICE, IVE, NMIXX, and ITZY

in terms of newjeans in specific, how i found out about them was through an insta post of their debut photos. i recognised hyein from pocket tv bc i used to watch it in 2020. thats what got me interested in the group at first so i watched their mvs. i thought their concept was interesting bc its different from most kpop groups ive seen so i started to stan them. all their songs r so good imo, but if i had to choose a fav itd prob be "hype boy". my bias is hanni bc i rly like her visual (all the other members r v pretty too tho) and humour.
