Nature

Akil got up and he walked me and when I reached my house we said our good-byes and I sat on the porch and examined the neighborhood

"What you doing outside alone?" I looked up at my mom and smiled.

"Nothing just examining the neighborhood."

"Oh well I'm bout to go cook dinner and I'll tell you when I'm done. In the meantime go make some friends but only stay on this block you hear me?"

"Yes mama." I said as I go off the porch and walked down the street. I was walking down the street until I felt someone burning a hole on the side of my face. I looked and I saw Akil looking at me.

He saw me see him looking at me and motioned for me to come over. I made my way over there and sat next to him on his porch. He didn't say a word or even greet me. He just looked at me and turned around and watched the neighborhood.

Even though we weren't talking physically it was like we were talking with silence and with our minds. He stopped looking at the neighbors for a second and looked at me and smiled showing his straight white teeth, causing me to smile back. He got up before me and reached his hand towards me so I could get up.

He led me to his car and opened the door, he was just about to close before I stopped him.

"Where are we going?" He looked at me with an annoyed expression.

"You coming or not?" He asked.

"Nope" I said as I got out of the car. I was going to walk away until he pulled me back.

"You not gonna go just yet." He said. I looked at him like he was crazy.

"And why not?" I asked. He smiled and looked directly in my eyes. Something about him is just so different.

"Because I need to walk you home."

He walked me down the street to my house. Just as I was about to go inside he pulled me close to him. His lips brushed against mines and he whispered in my ear. " Just a little tip watch the folks in your house." He pulled away from me and smiled as he walked down the street towards his house.

I walked back in my house and I couldn't thinking about what he told me. Its only my mom in the house. Or is it just my mom?
