Me and Jason's at waiting outside of Alfred's work room. "I'm still not sure, do you really think Bruce will let me be Robin?" I asked Jason, who looked at me, then back to a picture of him in a Robin outfit next to Bruce in a Batman suit. "He knows that he'd have to eventually. He'll probably put you through hell training as well though." Jason told be, sitting down against the wall. "Sorry for hitting you in the knees with that baseball bat." I told him, he just sighed. "At least it wasn't a crowbar." Wait what? Alfred exited the room, holding a folded costume. "I'll set this up in the display case, when Bruce thinks you're ready, you may take it." Alfred told me, guess I had to go talk to Bruce now.

Bruce looked at me with his arms folded, most of the Batfamily was watching from around the corner. "Hit me." Bruce told me. "What?" I asked Bruce, he unfolded his arms. "Hit me. If you wanna be Robin, hit me." Bruce said, some of the others began too chatter. "Aren't you like 39? If I hit you, all of your bones would just crumble." I joked, I heard Stephanie chuckle from around the corner. "I said hit me, not insult me." Bruce said, cracking his neck. Okay then. I walked towards him, getting ready to throw a punch. As I did, he grabbed me by the arm and threw me towards the left of the cave. I ran over at him, throwing a right hook. He swept me by the legs and put his foot on my chest. "You didn't hit me." He said, I just laid there for a second. Bruce sighed and looked away for a moment. I punched his leg. Bruce quickly looked back at me. "Hit you..." I said, Bruce lifted his foot off of me. Jason and Dick emerged from the corner first. "Your training starts tomorrow, Robin." Bruce said, Jason helped me up. Bruce left the cave. "Yes!" I shouted, Jason clapped. Then it set in how much training I'd have to do tomorrow.

I woke up in my 'room' that was really just a cot and a dresser because I haven't moved into the mansion. I walked over to the said dresser and pulled out some clothes, they were apparently Jason's. They were also a bit big, but they fit so I just rolled with it. Someone opened the door. "You ready?" It was Kate, I stretched my arms. "Can't I eat first? I'm kinda hungry." I asked her, she shook her head. "Either you eat or you train? Your choice." She told me, walking away. I sighed and followed behind her, walking down the massive hallway to the Batcave. This still all felt like I dream, the cave itself was like a an entire mansion in it of itself. It was even bigger than the apartment I lived in before. As I followed Kate, I bumped into a punching bag. Kate looked at me disappointed. "What were you thinking Bruce..." She said, punching her nose. I noticed some clothes that were about my size laid out on a table, they were dark green and a beige color. "Put those on, when you're ready do some warm ups." Kate told me, tossing me the workout clothes. They back off them was red and yellow, they seemed like a combat outfit for Robin. Or a design that they didn't like.
I walked over to the changing room and put the clothes on, they fit like a glove. I looked over at the curtain, this was my last chance to have a normal life. My head was in the clouds, I could get hurt or worse by doing this. I stepped out of the room. "Looking sharp kid." Kate told me, I looked at the vast amounts of training equipment. "It should I call you Robin?"
(I know this is a short chapter but I swear the next one will be 2500 words so I swear it'll be better. Please vote.)
