He came out in his black tshirt and trackpants to find no one in his room.
As he sat on the couch, bansi kaka came in...
"Beta, khana lagwa dun aapka?"
"Nahi kaka, bhook nahi hai"
"Priya bitiya ne bhi mana kardiya"
"Priya?" Ram asked confused.
"Haan, woh neeche living mein hai"
He was shocked to know that she is still here when he thought that she had left. He looked at the time to find it to strike 10:30PM.
He angrily barged out of the room to give her an earful but stopped on the top of the stairs, his redshot eyes turned warmer and his heart ached seeing her sitting on the couch and silently crying, sniffing now and then and hastily wiping her cheeks in intervals as her tears aren't stopping.
He silently walked down the stairs and went and stood opposite her. She looked up at him and he sat next to her.
As soon as he sat next to her, she turned to him and started babbling while crying "Ram I'm sorry but please don't punish me by not talking to me... please talk to me ram....I'm sorry"
He cupped her face "Shhh, stop crying priya" and wiped her tears with his thumb pads.
"I love you ram"
"Why didn't you go home? Tumhare mom dad ne call nahi kiya?" He asked calmly.
She rested her hands on his which held her face and said "Papa ka call aaya tha but i told him ki aaj main shruti ke yahan ruk rahi hun"
He sighed seeing how much she loves him.
"Khana kyun nahi khaya?" He asked.
"Aapne bhi toh nahi khaya"
"Subah se kuch khaya?"
she nodded her head in negation.
"You?" She asked and he too nodded his head like hers.
"Chalo khaate hain" and he was about to get up leaving her face but she gripped his hands on her face preventing him to move.
"You're not angry on me na?" She asked.
"Lets eat first okay" and he removed his hands off her face.
She nodded her head in disagreement and said "jab tak aap mujhe maaf nahi karenge main nahi khaungi"
"Priyaaa" he said in warning tone.
"Kahaa na... main nahi khaungi" She said firmly.
He sighed and called out "Bansi kaka... khana lagwaiye"
"Jee beta" saying so he left and ram went back and sat next to her.
"Haath kaisa hai?"
She looked at him "Theek hai, subah se dard nahi hai"
"Hmm, patti change ki?"
"Haan"
"Beta khana laga diya hai" bansi kaka came in.
"jee kaka, aap jayiye aaram kariye... kuch chaiye hoga toh main dekhlunga"
Bansi kaka nodded and left.
Ram looked at her and said "chalo khana khate hain"
"Ram.."
"Maine kuch nahi khaya hai subah se aur tumne bhi, so please can we eat first?" Ram said looking into her eyes.
