This is one of the worst ideas I've heard in my life. My friends are always trying to convince me to get my hair cut to my shoulders, but little do they know, it will only result in a bush.
In the past, I've had many fiascos with inconsiderate, straight-haired hairdressers, who thought it would be a good idea to cut my hair a little shorter than normal. The result looked a little like the picture in the media, and it was horrendous, considering the fact I can't straighten it.
Anyways, the point is that the people who ask this question generally get "accidental" haircuts of their own. Straight-haired people, I'd advise that if you like your hair now, not to encourage curly haircuts in any manner whatsoever.
