"Chareru, I brought you a fish!" Happy waddled up to Charle, handing her a limp, wet fish tied with an elaborate red bow. Charle looked at it with a mixture of disdain and unintrest, raising a single fluffy eyebrow in response.
"Yeuch,I told you I despise them, Tom-cat!" Charle spat at him, disgusted. "I much prefer tea." She took a dainty sip from her china teacup, ignoring the sheepish tom next to her.
"Gomene, Chareru..." Happy walked away, tears in his eyes.
Lucy, sitting at a nearby table, giggled at the sight of the two Exceeds. She ruffled Happy's blue fur as he trailed towards Natsu. "Don't worry Happy. You'll work it out. And just ask me if you need any help." she said with a subtle wink. "But Lushee," Happy looked up at her, his mournful eyes still brimming with tears "-you've never had a boyfriend"
Lucy's eyes widened in shock and annoyance. She stuck her pointed nose in the air. "Cheeky cat! I'm never offering any advice again!" At Happy's insult, Natsu roared with laughter, banging his fists on the table, causing the crockery to clatter violently.
"Natsuuuuuu!" Lucy roared, her eyes glowing with rage. Natsu recoiled slightly, and sweatdropped. "S-sorry Luce, but, Happy got you real bad!" He relapsed into roars of laughter, while Happy just stood there, eyes wide, confused.
Lucy rolled her eyes. "Come on guys, lets go on a job! It will cheer up Happy."
Natsu raised an eyebrow. "Is it to cheer up Happy, or is it because your rents due this week...?" He received a sharp, stinging slap from Lucy. "Whatever, baka! We're going on a job. Lets get the others."
They rounded up the rest of the team which consisted of Erza, Gray, Wendy and Charle. After leaving the guild, they headed straight for Magnolia station.
*Timeskip- After Job*
The guild walked out of the clients house, after receiving their pay. "Maaan, I'm starving!" Natsu moaned. "Well thats nothing new" Lucy muttered under her breath. "We'll get something to eat after we reach Magnolia, 'kay?"
"YEEEAAAAHHH!" Natsu triumphantly fist pumped the air. "FOOD!"
Gray suddenly noticed something. He spun round, stopped and looked at Wendy. Tears were rolling down the young mage's face, thick and fast. "Wendy!" Gray exclaimed, startled. "Whats wrong?"
Wendy snivelled and did her best to wipe her tears. "Oh Gray-san!" she wailed despairingly "Its Charle. She's gone missing!"
A/N: HAII AGAIN GUYS. Sorry for lack of updates, I've been short of inspiration and took a break from Wattpad. But the new chapter is now out! I promise I will update a lot more often from now on, and finish this story...
The new chapter is very short and a bit rushed but please bear with me.
