Natsu P.O.V
The team split up into two groups, Me, Happy and Lucy in one, Gray, Erza and Wendy in the other, to search. We began to scour the forest, looking from tree to tree to find the white Exceed. My stomach rumbled. "Luceee" I moaned. "I'm hungryyy". Lucy looked sternly at me. "Natsu!" She scolded. "I thought you realised, CHARLES LIFE could be in danger here! Surely you can't be thinking about food right now!" I heard a whimper and looked down. Happy was yet again crying, his eyes wide, his lips trembling. Luce looked at him in shock. "H-Happy! I'm so sorry... I didn't mean it!" He continued to bawl. I stared, unable to do anything. "Ch-harle l-lu" Happy stammered. "Okay, lets get going..." Lucy whispered, her voice softened. We walked in silence, Happy in my arms, quietly sniffling. I felt a weight on my shoulders. There was nobody here to complain to us about walking too far, or for not sticking by Wendy. It felt strange, eerie even, without the presence of the little white exceed. We walked and walked, checking everywhere, for hours. My eyelids began to droop, my legs heavy as lead. Happy began to snore in my arms, his blue body nuzzled against my chest. I sighed in despair. We were getting nowhere. Just as I was dozing off against an oak, I heard Luce cry out. "Luce, whats wrong? I shouted, stumbling to my feet. She didn't reply. I watched her brown eyes grow wide as she stared into the sky. I followed her gaze. "Woah..." I whispered to myself.
