Can't believe I'm into this shit again! I sigh pretending to play with my phone.
"Debbie...I'm Debbie. " she says, and to my surprise, I kinda recognise that voice.
"Kevin," I say, "Kevin Godwin."
I eye the girl she was with. Some brunette in Blue Jeans. Nerd probably.
"Well, Mike, do you mind sending me on a blind date with you?"
"Blind date? " I raise an eyebrow. Clearly disgusted.
"Please? " She adds.
"Who's she? " I ask straight away. She seems really helpless.
"Oh. Wanna meet her? " Decie or whatever her name says.
"Her name? " I insist, "Just her name!"
When she looks as though she won't subside, I pull away.
Inside I'm going to meet Richard and the boys. They'd really get pissed off seeing me waste a full hour outside....

"Well, well, well. Like how exactly is she expected to react. "
I turn softly, beckoning her to come forward.

"I'll meet you later then, " she says.
"Well, I guess me too! " I say.

She takes a step back before disappearing in the crowd.

I arrive inside the lobby. Cool party.
"Kevin? Dude beer's over? " Reagan is literally screaming.
I look over the room. Smell of booze, a couple of girls by the Dj's corner.
Pretty little things.
"Man, you lost or something? "

But I'm far away. In my mind, I need to get Dad's jacket downtown.
"Be right back." I tap his shoulder.

I'm once again outside. My car is really old painted, something I can blame on the mechanics.
I grab the keys, checking through texts on my phone.
One is from Alicia: Hey, my chips remember.

I scroll through them all. Then it catches me.
Mysterious number.
You fucking ignored me. You'll pay the price.

Before I can even reply, another text boozes.... Then another....
I'm watching you.
Be careful of me.
I kill bunnies....
Just know you'll die....

I look around. Who the hell is this? Meet me at Broadway street 11. Was the last text.
