She opened the door to see 4 familiar faces.

The red head in his blue shirt, his smiling, freckled face, and baggy shorts. He had scars all down his arms from the last time she had seen him, and he now had an eyebrow slit. She could tell it was Carlton in seconds. She gave him an awkward smile, and he had never looked happier. She chuckled a bit to herself as her eyes moved to the next person.

The reddy-brunette with long hair stared at her, joy in her eyes. She was wearing a red dress that complimented her eyes. She, too, was freckled, and had long white socks that reached her thighs. This was Marla, and she hadn't changed a bit. Charlie could tell she was fighting off the urge to run up and give Charlie a hug, but she just stood there, as her eyes drifted again to the next person.

Blonde. Her hair was plaited at the front, her long hair reaching her waist. She had a pink sleeveless crop-top on and blue denim shorts. She was posing as if her picture was being taken to be put in a magazine. She waved at Charlie with a smile on her face. Jessica, her best friend. Her eyes moved swiftly to the last person standing in the room.

John. His hair was short, scruffy, brown. His eyes matched his hair, as well as his denim jacket. He had a white shirt on, the top button undone. He was smiling and was a tad bit red, which Charlie picked up on. It made her feel all gooey, and she hated it. Their eyes met.

A long stare was shared between the two. They were both red, sparking with embarrassment, until Jessica spoke.

"CHARLIEEEEEEE!" she shouted as she ran up to her and gave her a hug. She smiled and patted Jessica on the back, still a bit red. The others approached, John the furthest. They all joined the hug, eventually even John.

Charlie felt home once again.
