Thursday"Okay, you sure it doesn't look too basic?" Lai asked Nana as they folded baby clothes in the new nursery after she washed them first.
Nana chuckled "No it's fine friend. It's not over the top, it's just right." Nana assured her, getting up and putting the white baby onesie in the place Lai wanted.
Lai let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. She wanted it to be a nice room since this was the first time she was doing this.
"Tt Lai, can I have a snack?" Maliyah asked as she sat on the floor practicing writing her ABCs and 123s. Lai smiled at her, Liyah was now 4 years old and just as beautiful and smart as she could be.
"Yes, that fine ladybug. Bring me some chips too" She said, Liyah nodded, putting her pencil down and standing up. "Mommy, you want something?" She asked Nana.
"No baby, bring me a water tho" Nana told her, Liyah skipped out of the room making Lai laugh.
"Liyah is so sweet, I don't see the meanest y'all talk about," She said, picking up a Onesie to fold.
"Girllll, she is nice when you and Sha are around but lord knows when y'all not she is something else" Nana chuckled, now folding some baby blankets. It was true, Liyah was always a complete angel and super sweet around Lai. Everyone always says it was an act and that Liyah was actually very mean.
