S Y N O P S I S
A seemingly normal, crime-free America celebrates an annual national holiday known as "the Purge", a day in which all crime, including murder, becomes decriminalized for a 12-hour period. While most people worry about staying safe at home and getting through the night unharmed, some people, known as purgers, walk around freely, claiming their right to purge.
Ivy and Neo cross paths as two strangers, both out for the first time ever. Their rookie fear immediately pushing them to work together to get through the night. Neither of them wants to admit why they are out in the first place, but as time passes and death and misery is all around, secrets are spilled, feelings are shared, and survival becomes their main goal.
Can they survive together? Or does one of them perhaps have a different agenda, hiding under their made-up name? After all, both Ivy and Neo are strangers with murderous weapons, strangers that will not be held accountable for what they do within that 12-hour period. They were, are and will still be strangers to each other after all.

NOTE: If you didn't know already, the purge itself is NOT my idea, but this short-story is based in that made-up future America. The Purge is an American anthology media franchise centered on a series of dystopian action horror films distributed by Universal Pictures and produced by Blumhouse Productions and Platinum Dunes, which are written and in some cases also directed by James DeMonaco.
However, this particular story, these characters are all written by and belong to me.
