I was laying in bed on my phone, the late june heat really started setting in as summer hit. My one window opened and the AC was still too hot to be comfortable enough to fall asleep. The Cicadas outside my window clearly were not helping either. I continued to lay in bed, scrolling through old Imessage chats, hoping that it would start to cool down somewhat later into the night. The messages started to disappear as I went farther up. I threw my phone towards the bottom of my bed and got up.

I rummaged around for spare cash in my room, trying not to wake my brother in the process. I threw 30 bucks into my bag that crossed over my shoulder and plugged in my phone. I don't think I'll need it for this trip. I grabbed some pillows and made a makeshift me in my bed, just in case anyone got suspicious.

I climbed out the window, making as little sound as possible and jumped to the first floor. My first floor is more like half a floor seeing as you go down a few steps to get into the house so it's not that far of a fall.

I started walking through the city streets, causing an array of dog barks from my neighbors. I threw on my knotted, wired headphones and jammed out to one of my playlists. My taste in music might have been depressing but it keeps me busy. Eventually I made it to the tree with the mysterious escalator and started walking down it. I reached the bottom with a little hop off of the moving staircase and I was eventually surrounded by Acca and Ura-acca's garden of flowers. I slowly walked over to the little egg dispenser and fed some money into it, waiting for the eggs to drop into my bag.

Behind my back I can hear some other people talking, they sound young, maybe around my age. 'There are other people here too?'...

Before I could think more to myself one of the girls jumped onto my back, it startled me to say the least.
"Yo~ Got alota cash there huh? You think you can spot me? Just this once?"

The girl was slightly shorter than me. She had bright teal eyes you could easily get lost in, blond hair with a single pink streak, and a good sense of fashion.

"Rika! Stop asking girls for money, it's incredibly inconsiderate."

Another girl around the same age came up behind her, she had slightly darker skin and a long gray dress on. It seems like those were the only two people that were here besides me and the other couple of dummies drinking tea.

"Uh.. yeah sure.." I slipped her a 10, knowing that can only get her a couple eggs. I started to walk away after getting my haul when the blondie stopped me,
"Hey! What's your name?! Im Rika Kawai, yk, cuz im a cutie!" She raised her arms and pulled a jazz hands on me.

".....Y/N...Y/n L/n."

Rika was later pulled away by the girl in the gray dress who I didn't catch the name of. Both of them were interesting but I had questions. I walked up to Acca and Ura-Acca while they were drinking their tea.
"You never told me there were other people buying eggs from you."

"I guess it never came up, we assumed you would meet eventually which is why we never told you." Acca said and continued to sip his tea. Ura-acca agreed and I was sent on my way. Walking up the dingy escalator I walk through to the dark streets of my neighborhood. I make it to my 1 and ½ story house and climb up my childhood treehouse to get to my window. Climbing through and onto my bed, I count my haul,

2...6...7...12.. 12 eggs, that should last me a couple days depending how much I want her back...depending how much I want my sister back.. I can't even walk into her room without getting hit with a wave of memories. The belt, the smell, the sight, her, everything. I was only 7 when she decided to hang herself. But the worst part is is that no one could tell any of this was going on. She hid it so damn well..

That's why I spend my life savings on these eggs, not just accomplishing something that great, but, to be able to feel something again for once in my life...I grab one of the eggs and move over the makeshift me and sprawl out on my bed like a burnt panini. I would have a heat stroke if I even tried to touch my comforter.

Then, I slowly drift off into the dream state I wish could be over already.

Wait how the fuck do a bunch of dummies drink tea?...
