It's a warm Saturday afternoon and you and your husband Tenya, are spending the day at home rearranging the furniture and spring cleaning.
You've both been working at a pretty steady pace, dusting and moping throughout the house. The last area left is the living room. You start my picking up odds and ends, dusting the table with a cloth and placing the things back down in their respective places, making sure not to forget the easily forgettable spaces like the lampshades.
Tenya comes behind you with the broom, sweeping up dust and dirt, making sure to get underneath the rug. Everything is going well until you rush across the rug, and your toe gets caught in the corner, and you end up landing face first onto the floor.
You can't help the tears that begin to well up in your eyes, you start to sniffle and you involuntarily whine. Tenya rushes over to you as soon as he heard the loud thud.
"Y/N! Are you alright?" Tenya asks with panic in his voice, He kneels down and scoops you into his arms. It's only when he feels your tiny fists grabbing onto his shirt, that he puts it together that you've regressed.
"Hey, shhh little one, it's alright." Tenya coos quietly. He uses the palm of his hand to gently rub up and down your back in an attempt to soothe you. "It's okay baby, daddy's here."
You whimper as he stands up with you in his arms, still rubbing your back and cooing to you softly. Tenya carries you over to the couch, sitting down with you still in his lap. you cling onto him as tight as you can, not wanting to be put down.
"I-It hu'ts..." You burry you face into your daddy's chest, trying to hide from the pain in your knee.
"Where does it hurt, darling?" Tenya asks, kissing you gently on the top of your head.
"My...nee." You turn your head to look at your owie, pointing at it with your finger.
"Oh you poor thing." Tenya examines your knee which is now red and sore. "Daddy knows just the thing to make it all better." Tenya stands up from the couch with you still in his arms, and makes his way to the bathroom. He sits you down on the counter and searches through the cupboard to find a bag full of First-aid supplies. He opens up a tube of cream and gently smears it onto your boo boo. It stings a little bit but it's soon covered with a band aid and sealed with a special boo boo kiss.
"There we go, little one." Does that feel a bit better?" You look down at your bandaged boo boo and then back at your daddy before motioning to be picked up.
"Daddy make boo boos all betters." You cuddle into your daddy and feel him hug you back.
"I'm glad you feel a little better little one. Why don't we go relax on the couch for a little while, hm?" You nod your head and Tenya carry's you out to the couch, wrapping the both of you in the fuzzy blanket that is flung over the back. He turns on the TV and flicks through the channels until he stops on one of your favourite cartoons.
"Look baby! (Favourite cartoon) is on!" You look up from the crook of Tenya's neck to see the show on the TV and instantly you feel just a little bit better.
"Can we watch it, dada?!" You ask excitedly.
"We sure can baby." Tenya chuckles and ruffles your hair gently. You snuggle closer into your daddy, relaxing your muscles as you focus on the cartoon playing on the TV. Iida continues to play with your hair, his touch continuing to relax you.
After a while you feel completely relaxed and have totally forgotten about todays earlier events. You feel you eyes start to become heavy, and you can't help but nod off into a light sleep. Tenya notices your droopy eyes and can't help but smile at how cute you are. He gives you a kiss on the top of your head before standing up with you in his arms,
"Someone's all tuckered out." Tenya whispers, walking you both into your bedroom. He lays you down on the bed gently and lays down next to you. "Daddy's right here baby, it's okay to rest."
You smile slightly as your eyes flutter shut again, the heat of Tenya's body keeping you warm.
