It has been over a day since I spoke to Maya, given my entire Sunday was spent with my daughter at the amusement park. This morning, I woke up to a call from work, and given that it was a Monday, there wasn't even a minute to breathe in peace.
Today is her fourth day at London, and at this point, I miss her so bad that I'm literally counting down the hours until we meet again. Apart from the usual good morning and I love yous, Maya and I haven't been able to talk about anything else all day. And to say that my heart is physically aching with the feeling of missing her would be a poor way to put it.
Tonight, staying up late under the pretext of work, I wait patiently until Jang-Mi finishes her work and heads to bed while I keep my eyes glued to the screen, pretending to do some work on my laptop—in reality, I'm just reading an article that has listed some dirty pick up lines to say to your partner that might come in handy when I text Maya later tonight.
I'm horny right now, and this article is only feeding my hormones.
Jang-Mi doesn't bother about my presence in the living room or my absence in the bedroom, and at the moment, I can't be more thankful for her leaving me on my own without asking any questions.
Once I'm sure she has switched off the lights in the bedroom, I pick up my phone and send a text message to Maya since it is 10 pm already, and it would be 1 pm for her, which means she would be on her lunch break.
