Susanne hires some builders to make a statue of Wonyoung in her memory to put in the middle of the park. John tells everyone he's going on the next mission and everyone asks why isn't Kyle going and John responds "I don't trust him Jason or Todd anymore because one of them killed our friend". John goes through the portal and Kyle sneakily follows. In the carboniferous John is going through a swamp and sees a wooly mammoth and knows that shouldn't be there. He follows it and sees it go through another portal. The portal then closes. John carries on and sees a meganeura and catches it with his bug net. Rose comes to the park and avoids Jason and Todd and sits on a bench. John sets up a camp and sleeps for the night. In the night he sees a pulmonoscorpius on the floor and he puts it in the pet carrier. In the morning he heads to a swamp and sees a mesothelae and catches it. He hears an explosion and goes to see what's going on and he finds a forest fire. Rose steals Kyle's keys out of his coat pocket and enters his house to see if she can find anything. In there all she sees is boring no good information. Then she finds his diary. She reads it and finds out Kyle's never been happier since he came here. John tries to run to the portal but an arthropleura gets in his way then Kyle appears and knocks it over. They take it back with them and John realises he can trust Kyle. Rose comes back with the diary and tells everyone they can trust Kyle "YOU READ MY DIARY" Kyle shouts "sorry" Rose tells him then he realises his diaries in his house and Rose confesses she broke in Kyle tells her she's lucky he likes her. At the Bug House John takes Nancy the meganeura Bob the mesothelae Aquamarine the pulmonoscorpius and Elizabeth the arthropleura in their and the Bug House is complete.
