The Lost Bride

~A new day~

Mizuki's POV
It was a bit odd to have Natsu bite me, but if he didn't I would have been dead from a parasite so I thank him. Calvin and I always went to check on Gray and his process and I think he's doing much better.

"How are you feeling today?" I asked Gray.

"Honestly my stomach hurts a lot, but my neck feels better" Gray replied.

I was shocked at his reply today. Normally he says he feels amazing and nothing bothers him, but his stomach is hurting him.

I ran to find Caius who was most likely with Natsu, but I really needed to tell him what was wrong.

I found the royal courtroom doors and pushed them open. I found Caius with Natsu there and sighed with relief.

"Caius! It's about Gray!" I screamed

"What's wrong with him?" Caius asked

"He's complaining about his stomach" I replied and then watched as Caius and Natsu ran to the medical room.

I followed cause I wanted to know what was causing him discomfort. I knew it wasn't an effect of the Karina fruit cause I consumed it before too.

"Gray can I add a bit of pressure?" Natsu asked

"NO!" Gray screamed and held his stomach in pain.

"Any ideas of what it could be Natsu?" Caius asked

"One idea. But I need to test it" Natsu replied.

I watched as Natsu bit a small hole on his and Grays fingers. He explained that it was an old technique to see if a dragons mate was pregnant.

"If the blood stays red they aren't, if it turns blue they are sick, if it turns purple they are" Natsu explained as he rubbed Grays blood into his finger.

A few minutes later Caius and I watched as the dragon slayers blood mixed with Grays and made it purple.

"He's pregnant" Natsu replied sitting next to Gray.

Honestly that seemed so much easier then taking a pregnancy test in secret just so rumors don't spread.

Natsu explained that even if Caius knew the method chances would be the colors would be different. He only knew the colors for him and Gray because they have tried it before they had their son Ashi.

"Many of the times he was sick but he felt pregnant" Natsu said and I laughed a bit.

Honestly it was nice to have another royal around for a bit.

Natsu's POV
I never really knew I could make people laugh and it made me feel so good when I did. Only problem was Gray. He's pregnant again and we have to leave before the baby is born.

Caius explained that dragon slayer babies are much different then Titan babies due to the fact they have immunity.

"Explain" I said to Caius.

"Titan babies can only be transported from here and earth before they are born. During it and they die. However dragon slaying babies can be traveled many ways and stay alive" He said.

I was shocked. Gray and I could have brought Ashi if I knew that. I ran and called the guild telling them that I was coming to get Ashi.

"Okay but be careful. Ashi hasn't eaten yet so..." Mirajane said

"Mira if a dragon slayer isn't fed they get mad and try to eat someone!" I yelled then quickly made a portal to our guild.

"Is he okay?" Caius asked Erza.

"Nope. Mira must have forgotten to feed Ashi" Erza replied.

I then came shooting back up with Ashi and he had a sandwich in his mouth. "Never in a million years would I have thought I'd have to pry a kid off Elfman" I said.

"Papa where's mama?" Ashi asked. His voice was soft like silk just like Grays when he's calm.

"Mama is resting" I replied. Ashi had a few features that looked like me, but he looked a lot like Gray.

Ashi has blue eyes and black hair, the spiky hair is mine along with the black markings on his whole right side.

"So what did you do at the guild?" I asked holding him.

"I tried to eat Elfman." He replied with a creepy smile.

"Do dragon slayer babies normally do that?" Mizuki asked.

"Not really" I replied a bit embarrassed.
