Harsh Reality

The days of harsh reality are upon us

As much as we wish to hide from blunt truth

It always seems to turn and slap us in the face

We wish to take it with a false facade

But it is there in the open staring in the eye

As we wonder from day to day we wish that harsh reality would go away

But we never stop to think about how we can change the rain

We've made reality harsh and that is our punishment

For taking away what used to be earth

People wonder why the rain is so harsh

We want all these fancy expensive "toys"

Yet we want to save the enviroment

We want to save the animals and keep them from extinction

But sell make-up made by animal fat

and fur coats to keep the plastic people happy

Our own naive nature is killing us all

People don't realize it but nature will take back it's home
