After changing into my improved uniform, I rushed to school. I looked around at all the kids in hideous uniforms. They of course stuck with the dress code. Strait, navy blue skirts with black tights/pants, loafers, and navy blue, button down dress shirts. I, on the other hand, wore a navy blue polo, a pleated navy blue and white skirt with black tights and black, Mary Jane pumps. I only improved it a little.

I walked inside, stuffing my sunglasses into my purse, heading straight for my locker. I grabbed the books I needed and closed the door. I turned around a came face to face with Riley. I yelped in surprise. He laughed at me of course, and took my stuff. "What do you think you're doing?" I asked "Being a gentleman and taking you to class." he answered simply. "How do you even know what class I have next." I asked running after him. He turned around looking annoyed "We have the same classes together." he said handing me his schedule. "Yeah, right." I scoffed, snatching the paper out of his hand. I scanned it over. We did have the same classes together. I groaned."Fine. You can take me to class." I sighed. He plastered a smirk on his face and continued walking.

Every girl we walked past fangirled as we walked past. I rolled my eyes at the comments I kept hearing. One that kept repeating was "Awe! What a cute couple." the fifth time I heard it, I was about to turn around and yell at the group of girls, but Riley slipped his arm around my shoulder, holding me back. "Come on, babe." He teased, no doubt enjoying the attention. I glared at him. "Well, if you don't like it, then why is my arm still around you?" He asked playfully. My eyes widened as I remembered his arm, I'd totally forgotten it was there! I quickly shoved it off, keeping a safe distance.

We walked inside class together taking separate sits. As the teacher walked in, she looked around the classroom, noticing the new kid with one empty chair beside him. "Ms. Rivers, why don't you sit next to this young man. He's new, and who would be a better partner for him, then the Dean's daughter?" She said smiling. Ms. Louise was the photography teacher and liked to think of her self as a match maker. Unfortunately, it seems she's found her next match. I obediently sat next to a smirking Riley. I kicked him under the table as a warning. He yelped, drawing the teacher's attention. "Is there a problem?" She asked. "No, not at all." I said sweetly. She nodded and went back to her seat.

I really hope the other teachers didn't put me next to him in my next classes, or he might have a bruise.
〰〰〰
Riley limped out of our next class, glaring at me. I laughed at his expression. "Was it really necessary to kick me in all of those classes?" He asked. I nodded. "So where are you staying?" I asked, changing the subject. "With you." he answered. Bad subject. I stopped walking. "Says who?"
"Me." he said.
" I don't think my father will approve."
"He already knows about you, just go ahead and tell him about me."
I groaned. "Fine."
I ushered him in my car and headed home. I led Riley into the house and to my father's office. I knocked on his door. "Daddy?" I said in my sweetest voice. I heard Riley stifle a laugh and punched him. "Yes, sweetie?" He asked. I took that as my cue to walk in bringing Riley with me. He looked up from what he was doing and studied Riley. He stood up and outstretched his hands. "Hello, young man. I just want you to know as my daughter's first boyfriend, if you break her hear--" "DAD!" I cut in. "Riley is not my boyfriend, he's far from that, trust me. He's actually a, um, faerie." I told him. "Please explain." and so I did. I started from when we were little to now. When I finished he stayed quiet. "My daughter's a Princess!?" He exclaimed smiling. "Of course you can stay with us Maybe you can teach her how to act like a mannered Princess, too." I rolled my eyes at my dad's comment after that whole story. Riley chuckled "I'll try my best, sir." I punched him in the arm and dragged him out.

I showed him to the guest room next to mine. No, not because I wanted him to be near, but because it was the ugliest. It was a muddy brown with bright yellow furniture. Lets just say my dad picked this one out. I left him to do whatever and went to my own room, closing and locking the door.

I pulled out old pictures of me and the boy who had somehow made his way back into my life. I laughed at one where I was covered in mud and her was drenched, no doubt with water. "Good times, right." I jumped at the sound of the voice. Riley was sitting behind me. I shook my head. "I will never get use to that."
"I know, that's the fun part." He told me.
I rolled my eyes. "So have you thought about the ball?" He asked.
"It's only been a day! How do you expect me to think so fast?"
"Well, Princess. It kind've runs in your family."
I rolled my eyes at the name. "How many time, do I have to tell you to not call me that!"
"Fine, then how about Lala?" He asked, I giggled at the childhood name he had given me.
"You still remember that?"
"I remember a lot of things. Especially about you." He mumbled the last part.
"Um, well, I've gotta go. Talk to you later." he said and like that he disappeared.

His words kept floating around in my mind. I quickly shook it off and started my homework.

What have I gotten myself into?
