On the following Sunday, Rita asked Camille to drop Candice off at Mike's house to play D&D since her and Glen were going to have dinner with their neighbors. Camille drove her sister to the Wheeler's in her mother's car.  "So, you're just going to sit in your room and watch Star Wars all day?", asked Candice.

"I don't know. I'm more in a John Carpenter horror-type of mood", Camille replied.

"You're such a nerd", Candice chuckled, shaking her head.

"Coming from the girl who's going to play Dungeons and Dragons", quipped Camille. She'd never seen a group of kids as dedicated to D&D as Candice's friends. It's become such a ritual for them that she even has a drawing of her D&D character in her notebook.

As she watched the movie, Camille started to wonder if being popular was just as worse as being an outcast. Camille would personally preferred being an outcast because she thought it would've been better than having boys constantly fall over you and to have everyone know what you were doing or wearing. She knew that some people would see it as sad, but honestly, she was comfortable with it. In the middle of the movie, Camille started to write down more ideas for her story when the lamp in the living room of and the kitchen flickered off and on. It was odd, considering that the lights in the house weren't that old and Glen paid the electric bill the previous week, but she didn't think much of it and continued to focus on her notes.
