"Kura-san," I hear his annoying voice call out. I roll my eyes and continue to walk down the crowded halls in hopes of ignoring the idiot behind me. I feel a large arm wrap around my shoulder as he smirks. Girls around us shoot daggers in my skull but I ignore them. "What do you want Oikawa?" I groan. He lets out an exaggerated gasp before putting his hand on his chest as though he's in pain. "Why so mean Kura-san. I just came to tell my favorite girl good morning," he fake cries. "Well your 'favorite girl' wants to enjoy her morning in silence so buzz of," I glare, shaking his shoulder off. I hear the snicker of Iwaizumi not far behind and keep on walking. Iwaizumiand I have become good friends the last three weeks since I've returned to Japan. It's his annoying best friend who I can't stand. Most girls practically swoon around Oikawa but, I can't stand the guy. He's just your everyday playboy who's used to getting what he wants. The only thing I've seen him actually work for is volleyball. Finally, I reach my first class of the day. Inside are a few students but no teacher. I take my usual seat by the window and pull out my phone to see that I have a missed text from Shouyo.
Shouyo: come pick me up after school. Wanna show you my new jump serve
Sakura: k
I put my phone away just as the teacher enters the room. She plops her stuff down on the table grumpily as usual before she starts teaching the class. Like mid class, I feel something hit the back of my head. I look down to see a balled piece of paper sitting by my desk. I read it quietly and roll my eyes before writing a response.
Zoned out are we😉- tooru
F off
This idiot did not seriously take the time to color in an emoji. I toss the piece of paper back with perfect aim before looking back up to the teacher, doing my best not to zone back out. Once class end, I start packing my stud up as everyone leaves. "Sakura," my friend Kira squeals as she sits down on my desk. Kira has light blonde hair with blue eyes to match. "Hey," I smile back. "Wanna come over to study after school." She ask in her normal exited tone. Kira is always happy no matter what. She's your cliche cheerleader from any teen drama minus the airhead. I'm not saying cheerleaders are airheads. Just the ones in most U.S movies. She's like the Caroline Forbes of Japan. Only minus the vampire. "Sorry, promised my brother I would drop by his school," I smile apologetically. "You have a brother," the obnoxious voice of Oikawa says from behind us. He comes up next to us before sitting his head on top of Kira's. Kira and Oikawa are childhood friends so either of them have any romantic feelings for one another. Thats one of the reasons I befriended her. 98% of the girls at the school are Oikawa crazy and it drives me insane. "Yeah, you never mentioned a brother. Did he live in the U.S with you?" She ask. "No, he was raised here. Him and my little sister." Oikawa sits there quiet looking genuinely interested in what I'm saying. "Why does he want you to drop by?" She ask. "He wants me see his new jump serve," I shrug. "He plays volleyball," Oikawa says shocked. "Yeah, why?" I asked. Around Kira is really the only time Oikawa and I get along. That's only because she doesn't tolerate our arguing though. "Well, I got P.E next. Let me go change," I say standing up. "Me too, I'll escort you M'lady," Oikawa says with a fake bow. "I'm a big girl, I can find my own class," I say sassily as I walk away. "Sassy as ever," he smirks, easily catching up to men with his long legs. "What do you want?" I groan. "A lot of things actually. To go to the nationals. Limited supply of milk bread. Oh, and for you to be my girlfriend." His last comment makes me nearly choke on my own spite. "Yeah right," I scoff. "Still don't believe me," he gasp in a fake heartbroken matter. " I'll believe you when you tell the truth," I sigh. "Ugh uh. Im telling the truth now and you don't," he whines. "What are you, 6?" I groan. "17 thank you very much," he sasses back. Finally, we reach the gym and I shut the door in his face, quickly getting ready.
