you and your boyfriend were laughing to yourselves as you passed by random students in the halls, some giving you dirty looks while others didn't pay attention

your eyes filled with tears, as wujin pushed you to the side, resulting in the zombie about to attack you, to bite him instead
you screamed, voice breaking as you sobbed, he looked at you with pain in his eyes
you tried to grab him, but hari took ahold of your hand, you looked towards her, she had tears in her eyes but was trying to comfort you, she took you into her arms, you sobbed trying to leave her hold, watching as the man you love turned, his bones cracking
he looked to you, his eyes didn't hold love anymore, they held something disgusting, something you wished you never saw inside your lover's eyes
he ran for you, but namra had snapped his neck before he could do anything
your screams mixed with your sobs, finally having the strength to leave hari's hold, you fell to the ground infront of him
your body shaking as you took ahold of his hand, so cold, unlike the warmth he would touch you with in the night
you looked at his dirtied nametag, remembering the way you sewed it onto his uniform, when you accidentally cut yourself during it and how he fussed over you despite it being a small injury
you ripped it out his uniform, no one dared to move or say a thing
you smiled down at it in your hand, gulping down the sob threatening to escape, you ripped out your own, and placed it in his hand, you closed his hand around it
you lowered your head to his, you kissed his forehead, you sat up looking down at him, you looked up, wiping your face hearing footsteps from other zombies
you grabbed a weapon from the ground and readied yourself
you would survive, you would make it out of here, for your soulmate, you would do anything, even die
