The eyes which kept glued on to me in a room full of people
As if to absorb my soul in yours
The smile on your face that always accompanied my name
Like a rainbow emerging without the rain
A promise made every time you held my hand
Interlocked fingers protecting me away from the world
The soft touch sending the message of your belief in me, of your love
The grip promising to never let go
They say you never said those three words
But tapping of your fingers said it all
Those eyes don't smile at me anymore,
But you are still watching over me, I know
Your smile is felt in every rain drop now
Whenever I smile, I know
The fingers are there, but the music of their tap still rings loud
In every bet of my heart, you know...
I know it that you know...
