Jason stood up and smiled, looking around and getting ready for his day and looking at himself. France had become the Hub of the world, and with it, people like him were in short supply. He was a Clockworker, being in small supply as you had to get special sanction from Sokolova industries due to them having invented it and most modern technology. He was quite possibly one of the best around. Any clock or device similar (Being that it shared its Gears and Cogs with that of A clock) was something he could understand and try to fix. He wasn't a master but he was very skilled and popular with people. Unlike most he did have a little bit of a cheat to his business, being that he was close, CLOSE friends with Lucy Sokolova, queen of the world. Her company controlled the world by having a hand in ALL Forms of trade, having an amazing Reputation and more money than most countries combined times 2. She had Started her company from the ground up, eventually taking Over the world by buying out other companies. She wasn't a cliché business woman with a dream. In her own words, she was a scientist. She just knew what to sell.

Jason grabbed his things, mainly just being keys to his house, a Foldable sword his father gave him just in case, his money, and a Pen. After getting dressed and ready for his day, he looked at himself, smiling. He had long-ish hair, just barely leaving the top of his head, at around ear length. Also, a short stubble beard that he kept as short as he could to not end up looking like his father. " Course the day I manage to Anti-tox for a bit, I deal with the Dubios stopping by. As long as it's the son, it should be fine." He headed down to his shop, heading inside to start his day.

As he started out people would come in a bunch and ask for a new clock, or something along those lines. And even sometimes for them to be fixed. But eventually two people walked in. Both looked to be very high class, one bearing a similar look to him but with a ponytail, and the other looking more like a political figure than anything.

Jason rolled his eyes "Hello Arno. Hello Resovier. What can I do for you today?"

"I need-" Arno cut his father off, raising a hand.

"Hello Jason. We need to make an order, no matter what is necessary. I need to get a clock to fit a massive part of my wall. We are assisting a friend of ours with a clock tower and we figured we could trust you with making it function."

"What friend do you have that can afford a clock tower? I like you Arno but someone seems a little..... Unlikeable to someone with that much money." He looked to the older of the two Dubios.

"Well actually it's an acquaintance of mine I recently met. Bought out our business. Her names-"

".... Arno?" A woman stepped into the Shop. She was short, a bit round but more so in... 2 specific areas. Unlike the common way to get them she was a purple eyed NON Albino, which was near impossible. Her hair followed suit with her eyes in color, but she carried a very knowing tone around her, almost in control of any situation she found herself in. "Seems we know the same clocksmith. Hi Jason." She offered a wide smile, sliding over the counter and hugging him.

Jason pulled Lucy in, smiling "hey Luce. What brings you here? Are you coming about the same thing as them? As long as I'm paid for the hour I don't care."

Arno nodded "Yeah I can manage that. Sounds good. Drop by this address 2 days after the Gala Ms. Sokolova will be having." He left a card there and turned away "I'll see you later Jason. Maybe drinks on Friday?"

Jason nodded and waved as they left "yeah, maybe. See you later Arno" he looked back to Lucy "I thought you said no officially being together? That's a business partner of both of ours"

She giggled, pushing him into the wall "Maybe I stopped caring...~"

A few hours passed, the two finally getting back downstairs. One of them had a limp and trust me, it's not the one you think it is. Jason painfully sat back down to finish his day, as it was considered a Break for him since he got to set his own hours, and she considered it whatever she wanted as she was the queen of the damn city. She kissed him once more on the cheek "Well, since what I actually came here to handle is already resolved, I'm gonna head home. I'll see you at the Gala next week, ok?"
