The One

Chapter 1: New beginnings

It was y/n first day in the FBI office. She still had to see if she was accepted to the BAU unit. You see a tall, nerdy looking boy so you decided to sit next to him.

"What branch are you hoping to get in? I'm really hoping I make it into the bau." you say with a bright smile

"Oh.. I was hoping to also get into the bau. Well I hope the two of us get the positions."

"I'm y/n by the way"

"I'm Spencer Reid" says the tall brown haired man with glasses.

A blonde haired girl named Erin Strauss called you into her office. " So you want to be in the bau?" she says while giving you a look that seemed like she was a little irritated. You just nod your head. "Well congrats. You are getting the second to last spot. You will start tomorrow at 7 am. Go ahead and wait out there and I will show you your desk and everything."

You waited in the hallway for about 20 minutes and then you saw Erin Strauss come out with the man known as Spencer Reid.

"Congrats to the both of you" she says while the both of you follow her to the bullpen. "y/n this is your desk, which is next to Emily Prentiss and across from Derek Morgans. Dr. Reid, you will be next to Agent Morgan. The both of you will be working in the field with Agents Prentiss and Morgan". You walk over to the raven haired Emily Prentiss and shake her hand. She says hello while smiling at you. You noticed how friendly she and Derek both seem.

Erin walked up the steps and is now standing in front of a door that is labeled "Aaron Hotchner" and she says "now you two will meet your unit chief Aaron Hotchner. He will be in charge whenever you are out in the field during cases." She knocks and you hear a very deep voice say "come in". You walk into the decent sized office and Strauss says, "Hotch this is y/n and Dr. Spencer Reid. They are your newest team members and they will be starting tomorrow." Hotch gets up to shake your hand. You notice how attractive he is but keep your cool. Hopefully he isn't profiling me right now you think to yourself.
