The next day my phone would not stop blowing up. Tony kept profusely apologizing. I really wanted to forgive him but... I don't know if he was genuinely apologizing or not. That was until I got a knock on my door. I open it to see a very fidgety Tony holding a blue box.

"Look, I know you probably won't forgive me but there was something I was wanting to give you last night." He spoke pushing the box towards me. I hesitantly grabbed it from him, opening the lid and I gasped.

"Tony, are you serious? Oh my god, I've been saving up for this for months." I beamed. He gave me the new canon camera I've had my eyes on.

"So are you still mad at me?" He inquired, holding his arms out. I hugged him tightly.

"Dumbass, you're my best friend. I can't stay mad at you. And I guess I'll join the Avengers." I laughed.

It's been a week since the party and today is my first day as an Avenger. I take a deep breath as I shakily press the elevator button.

"Good morning Dr. Evans, everyone is currently away on a mission but you are free to explore the premise. Your lab is on the second door to the right." The british voiced informed me.

"Thank you Jarvis, is all of my stuff set up yet?" I asked back.

"Yes, maam it is." He responded. I almost went into a full out sprint towards my new lab. Since SHIELD fell I haven't been able to use a proper lab, the only lab I had access to was the lab at the local community college I lectured at occasionally. The lab was breathtaking. The slick designs of the equipment and the holographic tech Tony has fit so perfectly together. I immediately went to work tinkering with some formulas here and there. I was mainly trying to get used to all of the hologram stuff. Once I figured out how to connect my main playlist to the lab I immediately started blasting the shit as loud as possible. Out of the corner of my eyes I see Tony slowly open the door shushing the others.

"Hi Tony." I say not turning around and turning off the music.

"What, how do you hear me?" Tony asked defeated.

"I didn't, I just felt an aura of douchebaggery behind mke and knew it had to be you." I smirked finally turning around. Tony's jaw dropped as the rest of the team looked on in amusement.

"Damn Tony, You just got roasted!" The brunette male next to him exclaimed. I walked up to them and introduced myself. It was until I officially met everybody that Tony snapped out of it.

"Marcy, that was not very nice. Anyways, I don't really have a project for you right now, but knowing you, you probably already have something planned." Tony concluded walking out of the room with the rest of the team. All there was left in front of me was Pietro leaning against the doorway.

"Hello again Princessza, so about the party. I..." Pietro started.

"No, look what happened at the party will never happen again. I mean, thank you and all, but I'm not some damsel in distress that you can just waltz in and seduce. Got it?" I interpreted. Pietro appeared next to me smirking.

"Who said anything about seduction, huh?" He whispered into my ear, his thick accent making me stutter slightly. I scoffed at him turning around as a little blush formed on my cheeks, and continued my work. Satisfied with my reaction he sat at one of the chairs, watching me work for the rest of the day.
