Long ago a magical golden flower grew along the U.S/Canadian border that could heal the sick.
In a nearby town 5 mothers were about to give birth but they were sick, very sick. Doctors tried everything but it was no use. The fathers had heard from others about the golden flower and led a search for it. They found it and made it into a cure for the mothers and it worked!
A few days later 5 baby boys with beautiful golden hair were born and everything seemed perfect at that moment. Unfortunately that moment ended to soon.
You see before the fathers had found the magical flower a cruel, selfish woman named Mother Gothel used the flower to keep herself young for hundreds of years and all see had to do was sing a special song
Flower gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine what once was mine.
Now that the flower was gone she needed a new source of magic and unfortunately it came in the form of the 5 boys. So one night she broke in and tried to cut it but it didn't work the magic faded from that hair and returned to the boys natural hair color. So the next night Gothel stole all 5 boys and was gone.
The town searched and searches but couldn't find the boys but Gothel and hidden them well. She raised the boys in tower outside of Toronto knowing the parents couldn't afford passports.
For 13 years the boys stayed hidden and that's were are story begins
