Aris's POV

Making my way downtown walking fast faces-

"Hey! get your own Thai mom, "A voice yells, I turn to look at the commotion and saw a Thai-American teenage girl with a slender build, light brown skin, messy auburn hair, and dark brown eyes.

Fighting over a Thai snack with a Caucasian girl with light skin and of medium height with ginger hair braided into pigtails. She has freckles on her cheeks as well as a gap in her top teeth.

Mag.., can't she just cut Anne some slack... It's also Anne's birthday too.

"Hey, Margot! Leave her alone!" a teenage girl of tall height with a slender build. She has blonde hair tied in a ponytail with a long bang parted to the right side of her head, a beauty mark underneath her left eye, and almond-shaped blue eyes yelling.

I stared at Sasha with a small blush and walked over. "Also, nice guitar solo, Vince," I added.

"Yeah!"

"Oh, yeah? Or else what?" Maggie asked.

"Or else you can forget to come to my awesome house party next week. It'll be really sad when the whole class is enjoying the pool. without you." Sasha says. "And that won't be just thing that will happen." I finalized and we smirked.

"Aw, jeez, Sash, Ice. I was just playin'. Here." Maggie says and gives(?) Anne her snack back and then walked away.

"Thanks, guys." Anne

"No worries. You just gotta speak their language." I say."But never mind that. Happy birthday, girl!!" Sasha yells.

"Yes!" Anne and Sasha do a little dance, and as I watched the small interaction I couldn't help but feel a small tint of jealousy in me.

All of a sudden the School bell rings.

"Buzzkill," Sasha said.

Third POV.

"Alright, class. Today's your lucky day cause it's Frog Dissection day." Mrs.Virk said excitedly.

"Gross," a random boy said.

The whole class groaned.

"Ugh! Frogs are the worst."

"I know right?" Aris says "Let's get outta here.*heaving* Mrs. Virk, the sight of blood... I-- I'm gonna be sick."Everyone but Anne and Aris had believed Sasha was acting.

-Oh, dear. Anne, why don't you take Sasha to the sick room before she desecrates these beautiful frog bodies with her vomit? Thank you.

"Mrs.Virk, may I go to the bathroom?"Aris asked.
