(From here on out, these chapters have been un-edited from the first time I wrote it. It does not match up with the story line, I'm sorry for that, but several people were asking me to republish these. I will try getting around to updating them but I'm not sure if I will be able to!)
You were being paired up for hand-to-hand combat, and a girl named piper was your partner. She had choppy brown hair with two braids competing down on each side. She was naturally beautiful, without make-up or fancy cloths.
"So I hear your the eighth" She says giving you look of pity
"Yeah, I guess I am. They think since I can control the earth I could be useful so Chiron is forcing me to get on the Argo when the seven goes." You tell her.
"I'm one of the seven."
"Really? So what is this whole thing about?"
"Well you know Gaia? Well she is going to awaken soon and we have to stop her with, now, eight demigods, to defeat her. Oh and monsters won't die so you have to keep killing them... Anyways! What weapon do you use?"
"Uhhhh, bow and arrow.."
You get your ring and press it to turn it into your bow and put the quiver on your back, loading a arrow in it. You shoot one into the middle of the target. You fire another and it splits the other one. Piper gasps and I glare at her, my eyes asking 'what?'.
"I pretty sure even the most skilled archer at CHB could do that."
"Who-"
"I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena." Annabeth was the girl from earlier.
She ran off and the rest of the day you worked your butt off working out, with a 5k run, intense rock wall climbing, getting beat up by about seven kids.
Your body ached. When you got to your cabin you faceplanted into your bed. You were going to fall asleep if it weren't for Leo running into your cabin, putting a sack over your head, putting you over his shoulder, potato bag style, and running away.
