0 - Slowly losing all of our money

-Lottie POV-

Holy shit

Even though i had been here a few times, it never ceased to amaze me. Woman with poofy, coloured skirts surrounding a fabric shop. Winged creatures sitting on pole and signs, children gazing at the Nimbus two thousand, Knockturn ally looking creepy as ever.

I looked at Julie who by the looks of it had been thinking the same thing, this is fucking amazing. The Professor started walking forward so we both followed her, we found a small space in the chaos.

"Follow me, don't stop until i tell you to, okay?" Minerva informed. Her eyebrows were raised and she was crouching slightly to reach our level. We nodded and smiled at her but she just sighed and turned around. I rushed forward a little bit pulling Julies hand with me, i put my hand in the professors and continued walking while holding Juliettes hand.

We walked past weird, fashionable and old shops. There were many other kids that looked our age or older also walking around, they were probably going to Hogwarts too. Juliette tugged my hand and nodded at a really tall person. Juliette looked closer and saw a little boy holding the tall dudes hand. Wow, there a lot of weird people in the world and i'm a fucking witch.

Minerva guided us to Gringotts, I had been here probably twice because of mum and dad. The professor walked in with us still attached by our hands, I saw the stands with the wrinkly goblins and shuddered at their scary faces. Minerva reached the main stand and held up  a bag of coins.

"I need these exchanged into as many galleons that this muggle money can get." She held her head high and never showed any fear, she's my new idol.

The goblin took the bag, peered inside and exchanged it with another bag. Minerva took the bag that seemed a lot heavier than the other one she exchanged it for.

Juliette went to touch the edge of the golden stand but i quickly detached our hands and slapped her hand before she touched it. She yelped and held her hand back glaring at me, I took her hand again and walked with Minerva again while basically dragging Juliette.

We closed the door behind us and was met with the light of Diagon Ally. Mcgonagoll turned to us and gave us a small portion of the gold. "Put that in your pocket and buy only the things you need, I will get your books ." She gave us a stern look before walking away to Flourish and Botts.

"How do we know what to get?" Juliette asked.

"I have it here, you nonga." I pulled the list out of my pocket and hit the back of her head. I walked away and i heard her fottsteps follow mine and a little 'ow'.

"Where to first?" She asked.

"Let's get your clothes." I insisted.

We reached Madam Malkins and opened the door. Fabric was everywhere and robes were in piles around the store. I walked to the counter and tapped the bell twice. Rustling came from an aisle and than someone came out from it. Madam Malkin walked out with her hair and clothes in a frenzy.

"What would you like? Y-young ladies." She cleared her throat and looked at us slightly drunken.

"Just some Hogwarts robes, m-maam." Juliette stuttered a little.

"Okay! Well go stand on that and i'll get started." The lady exclaimed. She walked away and nearly tripped over a pile of broken measuring tapes. Juliette walked closer to the stand, it was more like a podium. She turned to look at me with her eyebrows furrowed.

"Is she always like that?" She asked.

"Well not really. She's probably just stressed from all the kids this year." I insisted, Juliette nodded and turned back around when Madam walked in the room again with not broken measuring tapes.
