Dimitri sat in his cell in the dungeons, leaning against the wall. He had been crying but had done his best to hide it. He didn't want to show any weakness towards his traitorous father. He wiped away few dried tears from his cheeks and sighed shakily. He didn't notice his father who was slowly approaching his cell. "I guess you enjoyed your dinner," Christian said and nodded towards the empty plate that had been brought and served to his illegitimate son/nephew some hour ago. Dimitri looked up towards his father hatefully. "I'm not talking to you," he muttered, "You're nothing but a traitor and a liar," Christian nodded pretending and walked a bit closer to the cell door. "Dimitri," he began, "It doesn't have to be this way. Despite everything you've done, I care for you. You're my son despite the strange circumstances of your creation. And I don't want to be enemies with my own son. You may not see me as your father and I may not see you as my son, but we're still family and Eagelwoods don't abandon their own," Dimitri stood up and walked over to his side of the iron cell door. Dimitri looked at his father and shook his head. "They'll never except me after everything I did to you," he explained and Christian looked at him. "They people wants peace. They don't care how it's made," Dimitri looked down, tears running down his cheeks and he let out a small sobbing. Christian unlocked the cell door with the keys to the cells and opened it. Dimitri backed fearfully and Christian approached his son and carefully pulled Dimitri into his arms and hugged him tightly. Dimitri stilled for a moment in shock before wrapping his arms around his father and starting to cry silently. "Shh, it's alright," Christian whispered, "It's over now. I'm going to help you, okay," Dimitri nodded sobbingly. "I'm sorry!," he cried, "I'm sorry for everything... Father," Christian softly stroked Dimitri's dark hair. He knew that he had been right. All Dimitri and his sister was to be loved and accepted by the people who they thought had wronged them. Adelina showed up behind them and she smiled weakly and sadly towards her husband and Dimitri. From now on, Dimitri would be a part of their family and she was glad to accept him.
