Travelling with the Black Wizard

We began travelling together, I feel safe in his company and he's helped me with getting over the things that happened over the past couple of years. We've learnt a lot about each other, like how Natsu is Zeref's younger brother and how his past lover Mavis was Fairy Tail's first master and about his research as a child and how he gained his curse. I told him about Lucy leaving, my father's neglect and what my buyers did to me. I grew very comfortable in his presence and he in mine. After travelling for a while we somehow ended up on Fairy Tail's holy ground which is an island called Tenrou Island which is also where Mavis is buried. Only animals inhabit this island which I find strange shouldn't there be at least one other person to do upkeep on the grave sight. It's been a couple weeks since we've arrived on Tenrou, but whilst I was walking a long the beach I noticed a ship coming towards the island. I squinted my eyes, straining to see what it was. I recognise it. It was the same symbol that big sis had on her hand when she confronted father, that must means that the boat is occupied by Fairy Tail wizards. Is Lucy on board, she must've gotten pretty strong by now right. I can't help a smile on my face, I might get to see big sister again. However my smile was short lived, but if her or any of her friends see or get close to Zeref-san they coulld get seriously hurt or attack him.

They are quite far but they stop, I'll run back to Zeref-san whilst they debrief or something. We're pretty deep in so I take some time before I get there, I'm not exactly good at running so I'm not that fast. I would use a speed spell but if I need to protect Zeref-san then I need all my power saved up. Zeref-san seems surprised to see me back so early, I'm usually exploring the forest until much later.

"Luke, you're back early" he stood up and walked over to me, at the beginning of our travels together he would never have dared to even come in arms length to me. Even though his curse doesn't effect me he was still overly worried, but after a few more incidents he loosened up and can now approach me without any worry. "Is something wrong, you're never back this early," he looked so worried, it warmed my heart really such care I couldn't imagine why he was hated.

"No, nothing is physically wrong but I saw a ship with Fairy Tail's guild mark printed on it's sail," he his eyes widened, we only came to this island as Zeref-san knew it was practically abandoned so no one could accidently be killed.

"Don't worry Zeref-san! I'll make sure you can stay away from them as much as I possbly can" I state confidently, he ruffles my hair with a warm smile plastered on his face and nods. I lightly grab his wrist as to not hurt him, not that I have the neccessary physique for that anyway. I lead him deeper into the forest, I find a clearing and settle him under a tree I sit next to him.

"Script: Animal Camera," this spell creates a small bird camera that looks, smells and sounds like a bird from the local surroundings and I'm able to share what the bird sees. But, I can only create one at a time so I can't survey the whole island like this. This way I can survey the mages landing on the island, even if they're dragonslayers they won't be able to detect this by scent. The wizards arrive on the island in pairs, strange. Maybe their doing a competition of some kind. I didn't notice before but four other wizards had already taken their place on the island, they feel so strong espcially the ginger one he's got magic power oozing of him. Luckily they didn't go off and explore that would've been difficult to survey. Many tohers arrive on the island before I see one I recognise, he fits his description to the letter. Spiky pink hair, dark greenish-brown eyes, black jacket with gold trim, white scarf, Fairy Tail insignia on his right shoulder and a cheeky smile plastered over his face. It's Natsu and he's accompanied by a blue... cat? It has wings and seems to be speaking to Natsu, another downside of this camera is that I can't hear what I'm observing.
