It's been seven years since we left Tenrou Island and I've heard a rumour. That the Fairy Tail wizards that went 'missing' came back, after I heard about his and told Zeref-san he seemed glad that Natsu was still alive and told me that I could go to the capital and watch the Grand Magic Games since Fairy Tail would most likely be competeing this year. So I did just that, however I didn't expect to see Lucy actually competing. To think she's gotten this strong, I wanted to go and speak to her right then and there when they were announcing teams. But I decided not to. If she found out who I've been with for the past eight years she would try to force me apart from Zeref-san. I don't want that. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard mass amounts of booing, what I didn't expect was that she would be defeated in the very first round. I wasn't focused so I couldn't say what happened for sure but something doesn't feel right. The booing only stopped once Natsu came and took Lucy away from the arena. Every fibre of my being wanted to go see her, but I couldn't blow my cover that quickly as I could tell I was already being watched. So I stayed to watch, the final match. Jura sure is incredible.
The next day, the big main event was called Chariot, it was like a massive flat train. Three dragon slayers were put into this one, which I find quite unfair as I heard all dragon slayers suffer from motion sickness. They were competing for 6th, 7th and 8th place. After some big speech from Natsu about how they were fighting this hard for the friends that they made wait years for their return this made many of the members of the crowd tear up and many of Fairy Tail's members cry. With that Natsu took sixth place, Gajeel took seventh place and Sting dropped out givinng him last place. Sting seems quite pissed about the answer he got, I don't know what else he was expecting though. Fairy Tail does everything for it's members. The first one-on-one was uninteresting and very humiliating. The second match was between Fairy Tail's Elfman Strauss and Quatro Cerberus's Bacchus was more interesting. It had stakes if Bacchus wins he gets Elfman's sisters but if Elfman wins then Quatro Cerberus has to be called Quatro puppy for the rest of the competition. In the end Elfman won it was a test of endurance for him. Fairy Tail wasn't in the next match so I decided to go back to my inn for today.
It's day three, I'm getting kinda bored. Though I heard a rumour that Natsu stormed the Sabertooth guild hall, I couldn't help but chuckle. Today's big event was called Pandemonium basically big castle with 100 monsters inside. Erza was chosen to go first and she chose to go against all 100 of them, the pumpkin head tried to stop her but she didn't care. She went in and I have to say, she's amazing. She took down every single monster in there then held her sword to the sky in victory, she's so strong it's unbelievable. You wouldn't think that she was stuck in time for 7 years you'd have thought she trained all the time. However, since she took out all of them they had to change the event they brought out a magic measurer thing. You hit it as hard as you can with magic and it will tell you how strong you are, the one with the highest scores gets second place. I wonder how I would do, although I don't wan to try it. When it came to Cana's turn she rolled up her sleeve and she had a red marking on her arm, the spell she cast was a beautiful shimmering yellow and it broke the machine. The rest of the one-on-one's were all interesting especially Laxus vs. Raven Tail. He's very impressive, I've heard a lot about this Laxus guy whilst on the road. Candidate for strongest member in Fairy Tail, kicked out, helped defeat Hades then came back. An interesting character for sure.
Day four and I'm on the verge of killing someone. I watched as Lucy was beaten half to death by Minerva of Sabertooth. I couldn't do anything, I feel so hopeless. Her beating was finally over and the other members of Fairy Tail team rushed to her aid. They looked like they were about to brawl but they just left it. I was more than pissed off, I wanted to kill Minerva but I restrained myself from doing so. Zeref-san doesn't want me to kill anyone, he says that he doesn't want to stain my hands in blood when he can take that burden alone. I couldn't stand staying in the same place as a woman I wanted to kill so badly, so I left. I watched the rest of the day on the projections scattered around the capital. Natsu and Gajeel tag teamed Sting and Rogue, Natsu pushed Gajeel down some weird mine thing then proceeded to beat them both. I didn't want to watch the game anymore, seeing the woman who almost killed Lucy walk around freely angered me more than I cared to admit. I'm sorry Lucy, to leave you when you're weak. I promise one day, we'll see each other some day maybe not soon but someday. The time isn't right yet, so I hope you haven't forgotten about me yet. I left and returned to Zeref-san's side.
"Zeref-san" I called to him, he turned. He already knew I was there but was still surprised to see me so soon. I still had an angry look on my face.
"Luke, what has made you so angry?" he came up to me and put his hand on my head. I explained everything that had happened, he calmed me. I'm glad I came back this is truly where my happiness is.
