❀ Aries POV ❀Everyone looked at me in pure hatred and terror.
Did I do something? I though, disoriented.
"She's an Ezra!" Someone from the crowd called out with a snarl.
I backed away a bit, and looked to my right to find Robyn finally awake.
Her eyes were a bright green now, as green as the springtime leaves.
I just paused.
Why can't I look away from her?
I tried so many times to avert my gaze, but It's like my mind was saying : "Keep staring."
My face was a crimson red, but when she caught me staring, my eyes finally gave way.
I then looked behind me to Zora, who was holding a mirror.
"My eyes..?" I said, and Zora nodded.
I moved closer to the mirror, observing my eyes more carefully.
They weren't yellow anymore, they were now an aquamarine color, blue-green.
"They're so beautiful.. Why do people hate them?" I silently asked the maiden.
She set the mirror down, and beckoned me to follow her with a flick of her long, silky tail.
I nodded hesitantly, and scurried after her.
She led me to a wall. Just a wall.
"A wall?" I said.
Zora did not speak, but she took a few steps toward the wall and then disappeared.
!?
I just waited there, and she poked her head through, nodding to me.
I swallowed hard, and took a couple of steps forward.
Then a few more.
Then a few more.
And after those couple of steps, I was in..
A conservation room?..
Full of photos and seemingly ancient jewelry..
"Come." Zora stated calmly as I began to walk further into the room.
I looked around in awe at all of the beautiful stones that lined the shelves of the room.
There were lights strung across the ceiling, and again, gorgeous stones everywhere.
We walked deeper into the room, and Zora finally came to a stop.
"Look around, Aries. What do you see?"
