Christian sat in the chancery. The King's office chambers, looking and signing important documents and papers while looking through his income letters. He sighed deeply when he saw the letter with The King of Gwadrien's royal seal. The war had calmed but the threat was still alive. Christian opened the letter and read it silently and he smiled when he read that King Theorem and his Queen Atheina had agreed to the proposal and peace treaty that his daughter marries their oldest son Francesco. He would deliver the news to his daughter later today and she would travel to Gwadrien as soon as possible. Adelina entered his office and walked over to her husband. "What is it?," she asked worriedly. Christian looked up at his wife and smiled softly. "King Theorem has agreed to our proposal and the peace treaty between our Kingdoms," he announced and Adelina smiled and hugged her husband tightly. "Now we only need to tell Melodiana," he explained and Adelina sighed. "She's not going to be happy," she said sadly.
Melodiana entered the throne hall where her father sat on his throne at the long table. "You wished to see me, Father," she said politely. Christian stood up from his throne. "I've finally come to terms with King Theorem and we are be united in peace," he explained and Melodiana smiled happily towards her father. "That's good news, father!," she exclaimed but quickly became confused. "Why are you telling me this now?," she asked. Christian sighed and took a deep breath and looked at his daughter seriously. "You are to be married to King Theorem's oldest son Francesco and you leave of Gwadrien in two days!," he explained. Melodiana looked at her father angrily. "You cannot do this! You cannot force me into this marriage!," she exclaimed angrily. Christian looked at his daughter angrily. "Yes, I can and I will!," he exclaimed loudly and angrily, "I am your Father and your King! You will marry The Crown Prince Of Gwadrien weather you want it or not! This is about the future of peace and not what you want or don't want to do! As your Father and King, you obey me and you will marry him!," Melodiana looked at her father angrily. "Yes!," she said with tears in her voice and eyes, "I will marry him because you've arranged and ordered it. But don't think I will ever forgive for this!," And she turned and stormed out of the hall, crying and Christian sighed deeply and sat down in his throne.
Melodiana stormed into her chambers and slammed the doors behind her and run over and threw herself into her bed, crying.
