Melodiana sat in chambers at her dresslooking through her empty things on her dressing table. Most of it had been packed with her clothes and other important things she would need now she would never return to Westrose in a long time after marrying the Crown Prince of Gwadrien. Her older brother had not said anything of what he thought about the marriage but he had supported her. And so had her aunt Melinda and her half brother/cousin Dimitri. She walked over her wardrobe and took out the dress she would wear during the journey. It was a dark blue long dress with long sleeves, golden details and a golden small belt around the waist. She wore a pair of silver slippers to the dress and her dark brown released and she wore a small tiara. She put on the silvery necklace she had picked out before looking herself in the mirror. She wiped away a few tears that run down her cheeks. She was interrupted by a knock on the doors. "My Lady, your carriage is waiting," a guard called. Melodiana took a deep breath and walked over to the doors to her chambers and opened. Thomas faced with a kind smile and Melodiana walked passed him and left for the front entrance of the castle where her parents waited for her. Christian walked over to his daughter and smiled at her. He placed his hands gently on her shoulders. "I know you're going to make me proud," he said and Melodiana looked at her father, holding back her tears. Christian looked at her sadly and kissed her forehead softly and hugged his daughter tightly. Adelina walked over to her daughter and took her hands in her own. Melodiana glanced at her brother who stood with Dimitri and Melinda before she turned back towards her mother. "Mother, I'm afraid," she admitted. Adelina softly stroked her daughter's hair. "You are so strong," she explained, "You have the blood of angels and demon running through your veins. You're more stronger than you think. Never forget what you are, you're mine and Christian's daughter, a descendant of The Demon King and the one of the most powerful magician dynasties to ever exist. Don't ever doubt that," Melodiana smiled and hugged her mother tightly. "We'll see you for your wedding," Adelina promised and she broke their hug and smiled at her daughter. Melodiana took a deep breath and walked over to the doors to the carriage. A guard opened the doors and Melodiana stepped into the carriage. The doors closed behind her. For more than a week she would travel for Gwadrien to meet her future husband. Gwadrien was a nearby Kingdom but it was far longer from Westrose than most people thought who hadn't been there before. The carriage set off and Melodiana looked out of the window. The only one she would have was her new appointed ladies that her future mother in law had appointed. But she would not know them either, so it didn't make things better anyway. This was her duty as Princess of Westrose and Chandara. To bring peace to her realms. But would her future husband even like her? She sighed and looked out of the carriage window and softly started to sing,

[Verse 1: Melodiana]
Once when I knock the ice from my bones
I'll try not to feel the cold
Caught in the thoughts
Of that time
When everything was fine,
everything was mine
Everything was fine, everything was mine

[Chorus: Melodiana]
All the King's horses and all the King's men
Couldn't put me back together again
All the King's horses and all the King's men
Couldn't put me back together again
So when I close my eyes, I'll think of how everything was before

And she held back her tears and leaned her head against the carriage wall and closed her eyes. She eventually fell asleep to the carriage's moving.
