Prologue

I couldn't stop panting. I looked around to try to see him. The dark night was giving me shivers as I couldn't see where he was. I tried to stop breathing so heavily so he couldn't hear me. I took a step and heard the leaves crunch under my feet. I flinched and I knew if he was close he would be able to hear me. 

"Vanessa?" I heard Amber's voice through the bushes.  

"Yeah." I breathed. 

I looked in the bushes and saw her face. Her eyes were glistening from the tears.  

"Where is he?" she asked. 

"I don't know.... Where are Gabriella and Jaden?" I asked. 

"I don't know.... I haven't seen them." she said. 

Then she let out a little yelp that was quickly covered up. I turned and saw him standing over her holding a knife. 

I let out a loud scream.  

"AMBER!!!!" I shrieked. 

"Vanessa!!!" I heard Matthew shout. 

I took one step closer to Amber when I was grabbed from behind. 

I screamed as loud as I could and out of the corner of my eye I saw Clark come up from behind him and hit him in the back of the head with a bat. Then he fell.  

Clark then noticed me held in another mans arms. 

"Let her go." Clark said sternly.  

"VANESSA!!!" I heard Matthew scream again. 

"MATTHEW!" I called back but his hand connected with my cheek and I yelled out in pain. 

"VANESSA!!!" Matthew yelled again. 

Clark looked down at Amber and saw she had a knife in her leg. 

The man holding me covered my mouth and started dragging me away. I thrashed and screamed. Nobody came. I felt tears pouring down my cheeks. 

"Vanessa!" I heard Jaden scream but it was far away.  

"VANESSA!" she shrieked again. Her voice coming closer. 

I saw Clark look up in shock and Matthew ran up to him. Clark pointed to me and Matthew started running in my direction. He screamed my name as I felt a shocking pain hit my head and then everything went black.

Sorry about deleting the story! I wanted to just change the cast, but then somehow I deleted the whole thing! Good thing it was only two chapters!  

Anyways I changed Jaden Reef. Instead of her being Zendaya Coleman, now she's Annasophia Robb. I thought it would be better:)
