Chapter Five - Picture of Matthew

Don't kill me! I know I haven't updated in like FOREVER, but I've been working on another book. I'm posting it when I finish it though. Also, I think I'm deleting My Haunting Dream. Life happened and I don't really feel like writing it anymore.  

I think after this chapter or something, I might put this one on hold so I can finish my other book that I'm writing. I'm going to put the description at the end of this chapter so that you can get a little idea of what it's about:)

Chapter Four recap....

Clark and Ian patted him on the back and we walked into the school.

"Guys why is it so quiet?" Lily asked.

"What's that?" Paris asked pointing to a huge picture of someone on the wall.

Chapter Five

I looked at the poster in disbelief. I looked around and saw Ethan wrapping his arms around Dani, who was sobbing uncontrollably in front of the poster.  

We didn't talk and slowly walked up to the poster.  

It was a big picture of Mia. She looked beautiful. It was about a year ago, before she lost almost all the weight. 

"Wha- what happened?" Paris said, her lip trembling. 

I really felt for Paris. She was best friends with Mia for nearly her whole life until about a year ago. Paris and Ethan dated for a long time. Then he cheated on Paris with Mia. They got into a huge fight and didn't speak for almost six months. Now they talk, but only to bitch at each other. They were never friends again after that incident. 

"I don't know Paris..." I said. 

"I'm so sorry." Lily said wrapping her arms around Paris, letting her cry on her shoulder. 

"She was my best friend..." Paris cried. 

I couldn't bare to hear her cry. I walked up to Ethan and Dani only to have Dani GLARE at me. 

"I'm so sorry.... There were times we were really horrible to you guys.... I feel terrible." I said. 

"We were horrible to you guys too. And almost everyone in this school." Ethan started, "Thank you though." 

"Um... Ethan... Would it be okay if Paris talked to you? She has some questions and she's ... In rough shape." I said. 

Ethan turned to look at Paris. She was holding onto Clark and Lily, bawling her eyes out. 

"Yes of course. Dani, I'm gonna go talk to Paris for a minute." Ethan said. 

"Sure." Dani mumbled through her sobs, "I'll find Alita."  

Ethan jogged up to Paris and I followed quickly behind. 

He grabbed her hands and pulled her away from Clark and Lily. He wrapped his arms around her, and started explaining something to her. 

"Bastard took Paris." Clark growled. 

"I told him to talk to her. They did date once upon a time. Maybe he'll tell her what happened." I said.
