Ever since last week, Nanami-chan had been so...quiet. Well, she never really talked so much, but she just seemed out of it. She hasn't talked to you since last week, either. Is it about that Hinata guy?  You kept asking yourself that question throughout the week. You'd never met anyone in this school named Hinata. But, you're afraid to ask, in case something bad happened to him. No one else seemed to notice her, though. Not even Yukizome-sensei. You just didn't know what to do. "Sonia-chan, have you noticed anything...weird about Nanami-chan?" You asked Sonia. "I suppose not, all she does is play video games!" She replied. You knew, though, that Nanami was so much more than a gamer. She was special, but nobody else seemed to notice. After past experiences, you knew it would be way too awkward to approach her. So, one day during lunch, you snuck up to homeroom. "Sensei?" Yukizome-sensei was on her laptop, but quickly shut it as you entered the room. "Y/N, you startled me!" You could see a drop of sweat on her forehead. "Sorry! I just wanted to talk with you." You approached her. "Nanami-chan has been so...out of it, and I'm a little worried." You honestly said. Yukizome-sensei smiled at you, but not just a normal smile, a proud smile. She walked up to you and rested her hand on your shoulder. "I should've guessed," You were confused, "You and Chiaki-san have been so close." You didn't get her point. "To be honest, I noticed that a little too! But, I assume you noticed it way before I did because..." You were eager to find out what she was going on and on about, "Your Chiaki-san's bestfriend, Y/N-san. She's never seemed so happy, or that's what I noticed. Of course, her truest and most loyal friend is concerned for her." Somehow, Yukizome-sensei turned a normal conversation into a whole speech. Though, you'd never thought of it like that. The thought of you and Nanami-chan being friends was....in the back of your mind. What did you think of her as then? "Sorry, got kinda carried away! You were saying?" The way Yukizome-sensei ruined the moment was brutal, but helped your mind function again. "O-oh, right! Uhm...how should we lift her spirit?" You barely get away with not stuttering. "I know!" Sensei smirked, and told you the greatest idea ever. "I.AM.IN!!"

NANAMI-CHAN, ITS AN EMERGENCY!  DD:

whats going on?

COME TO HOMEROOM QUICKKKKKKk

kk, on my way!!!!!

Chiaki's POV:

Hinata-kun... Suddenly I got a message on my phone from...Y/N-chan. Apparently, it was an emergency. I quickly jogged to homeroom where the whole class was sitting. "What's wrong?" I asked. "You're wrong, because you're late!" Y/N-chan said. "Huh?" I was confused. Akane-san, Gundham-kun, and Nidai-kun were sitting on pillows with...controllers? "Play with us, Nanami-san!" Akane-san gave me a smile and thumbs up. I looked at Y/N-chan, and she smiled. "Sorry if Y/N over-exaggerated, we didn't want to worry you, we just wanted to lift your spirit." Kuzuryu-kun said, looking away as if he didn't care. Sensei approached me and said, "Thank Y/N, she was the one concerned for you in the first place." I looked at Y/N, and she smiled at me. "Y/N-chan..."

"Come on, let's play!"

Akane-san was ready to kick ass. I sat down with my classmates, and it was fun. The rest of the day, we played video games, my specialty. At the end of the day, I chased after Y/N-chan. "Y/N-chan!!!" Near the fountain, she finally noticed me. I caught my breath. "Oh, Nanami-chan, hi!" She cutely smiled at me again. "T-thank you." She blushed and turned away, "It was nothing." I grabbed her hand, "It was something, it was the greatest day of my life." I said it seriously. "Thank you, Y/N-chan, for everything." I turned and walked away. "Nanami-chan!" I turned around, "It's what friends do...!"
