Ella slowly opened the box trying not to break it because it seemed really old. As the small golden box creaked open the smell of dust and old cobwebs seemed to coat the edges of the room. Than she saw the cat again , it glanced down at the box and its eyes widened as if it were full of catnip. The cat pawed at the window and let out a sad little meow as if it needed to come inside. Emma glanced at the cat once more before looking into the box she flipped open the lid and inside there was a key. Is this the key for my clock? She wondered. She put the key in her bag and hurried downstairs again.
"I swear Emma that is the last time you are getting up in that attic. This building is too old for you to be up there it makes a horrible rumbling noise and I think it's scaring away all of our costumers!"
"Ok ok fine" replied Emma then she darted out the door jumped on her scooter and drove away as fast as she could. She HAD to see if that key fit!
