Emma woke up, got ready, and started her walk to work
"Hi Helen" said Emma as she swung open the doors to the patisserie.
"Well someone's up early, can you help me with the croissants this dough needs more flour I'm almost positive we have some on that shelf can you get it for me."
"Gotcha!"
said Emma reaching for the flour on the top shelf . Her short stature wasn't quite high enough to reach. She grabbed an old wooden step stool and grabbed the large bag.
"just put it on the counter and I'll take care of the rest"
Helen yelled from the other room
"once your done that I need you to run downtown and pick up an order of supplies for me, I have a busy day planned, and there's lots for you to do when you get back! We also need the extra pots and pans, they're in the attic."
Helen continued to list out her busy schedule and the words simply faded and blurred together as Emma found her daydream much more fascinating "I'll get them when I get back"
when she got to the small supplies store downtown she asked the lady at the front desk for an order for Hellen when the woman came back with the order Emma carried the big brown box labeled KELLY'S KITCHEN SUPPLIES back to the patisserie. Emma gave Helen the box
" sorry it took so long, the lady at the front desk was really slow getting our order,I'm just glad you paid in advance or I would be there all day "
She began climbing up the ladder to the attic
"I'll get those pots for you now. "
"I'm just glad I finished the baguettes in time for opening"
said Helen
"remember just ask if you want anything there's a whole pile of junk up there that I don't need this bakery used to be a house you know."
"really?"
Emma replied as she pulled herself up into the dim attic. the only light source was a small window on the far side of the room. The whole attic was crowded with old furniture covered in dusty cloth and other little odds and ends.  she grabbed the pots and the pans and handed them down to Helen.
"Can I look around up here a little more?"
She asked curious to see what was under all of the old cloth. Helen nodded in agreement and continued to work. then she saw something shine under a pile of old rags.
