Double Death

I flung my fist towards the mirror and it shattered. The glass shards flew towards Amelia's body, piercing her skin. I shouted as if I were the one being stabbed with glass and not Amelia.
"Laura!" I screamed.
"What? She's already dead!"
"Exactly..." I sobbed as I bent down next to Amelia. I cradled her head in my hands. One year fell on her face, then two, and then three.
I gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead and stroked a few strands of hair off of her pale face.
"Goodbye, Amelia. I love you," I sighed. Then I simply went insane.
I threw everything I could at Laura, including the pillows. I tried to push her out the window, but she was stranger than me and I must have looked pathetic. When I finally gave up, I fell onto my bed.
"Burn in Hell, you piece of shit..." I mumbled.
"I've already died, and I can tell you that there is absolutely no Hell."
I threw another pillow.
"You know it."
"Know what?"
"That you love me."
I feel the weight of the bed shifting. I don't love her. I know I don't. She killed Amelia. She killed her. Amelia. Is. Dead.
"She wasn't meant to die. She was simply meant to realize my superiority and leave."
"You are most definitely not superior. You are horrible. I hope we both die right now," I sobbed, the words being muffled by the last pillow that remained on my bed.
"How many times do I have to tell you, Thomas, we're both dead already!"
I turns to her with my tear streaked face.
"Double death."
