EMOTIONS SERVE NO USE in specific types of work places, especially the ones that involve going uncover. those pesky little things were the very thing twilight had gotten rid of when he first became a spy.
the hopes a marriage or the joys of having a normal life was something he couldn't fathom of having.
'YOU WILL MARRY AND HAVE A CHILD.'
twilight spits out his coffee at the message of his new mission. he lets out multiple coughs as he is surprised at such a request.
'desmond is a recluse and is extremely suspicious of others. at this point, he operates almost entirely behind the scenes.'
the man reads frantically through the newspaper, before the coffee stains damage it.
'his only public appearances are at the events held at the elite private school his son attends.'
'these events serve as informal get-togethers for the upper crust of industrial and political leaders.'
the spy couldn't believe what he was reading, a man so suspicious of everyone that his only appearances in public are at a school his sons attends?
'you are to enroll your child at this school and gain entry to these events.'
'however, the deadline for admission is approaching fast. only one week remains.'
in anger, twilight rips apart the newspaper. "i have 7 days to make a child?!"
his vocalized anger catching everyone's attention on the train he was boarding. he promptly excuses himself and goes back to reading the message.
'through gathered intel, we also have reason to believe desmond has another child. one from an affair before he became a reclusive.'
'though we don't have enough information to confirm the child's identity, we firmly believe they are attending a different school entirely.'
the blonde man raises an eyebrow at this. it's not often he has two options at his disposal, especially with a mission like this.
'we're calling it operation: strix. it is completely up to you twilight which option to take.'
'but know that this operation is the key to maintaining peace between east and west- and perhaps the world beyond...'
