Chapter 2 - Issues.

A/N: I'm so so sorry if theres any grammar/spelling mistakes ! I wrote this at 2am on nothing but milk and a bunch of easter chocolate haha

It was a brand new day on a Saturday for the Ishimondo Family. Apart from Kaito, they were all just lounging around in the living room. Kaito was away with with his husband and daughter, Shuichi and Kumi.

Shuichi, he has short dark blue hair with a small ahoge. He has very pale skin and a slim figure. His eyes are gambogeish grey, with thick eyelashes. His daughter, Kumi had the same purple hair as Kaito did, and even the tan, and energy he had. She also had Shuichi's eye color, and was a bright, cheery 4 year old girl. The two were fond of Kaito's family, and loved them. 

Tenko was in her room, staring at the ceiling. She was thinking of something that has been bothering her for a long time, and by long time- we mean years. It was about when she was younger. When she was little, she had an uncontrollable temper. To the point where it was sometimes physically dangerous to be around her. And because of this, her parents sent her away to learn a martial arts-like sport, Neo Aikido, to hopefully get her emotions to be more controllable. However, while she was away, around that time Maki got adopted into the family without her knowledge, and because of this she felt so betrayed when coming home and seeing some other girl take her place in the family. She absolutely BLEW UP the hour she came home from Neo-Aikido. It was almost as if she was worse than before, and at the time, she didn't think it'd affect her future much. But boy, was she wrong. Nowadays, she beats herself up over hurting her family so much growing up, almost daily, even. She's always wanted to apologize to them properly, but never got the courage to do so. She beats herself up because of this, too. 

Tenko continued to stare and sulk at the ceiling, a slight frown on her face. It didn't take long for someone to interrupt her thoughts though, as Maki walked into the room. She just came back from the living room with the others, and upon entering she looked at Tenko. "Hey." She said, causing Tenko to sit up, and have her attention. "Oh- Hey Maki ! What's up ?" Tenko asked, brushing away her thoughts. "We're going Roller skating later, maybe around 1pm. Wanna come ?" Maki asked, leaning on the doorframe. "Oh, yeah ! I don't have plans today, anyway haha.." Tenko smiled nervously. She was debating whether she use this opportunity to apologize and bond with her family in her mind when Maki asked her. "Nice. I'll go find your skates in the garage." Maki smiled, about to turn around and close the door before being stopped by Tenko.

"Ah, Maki wait !" Tenko called out. She kind of really wanted to talk about her issue to someone, and Maki seemed like a good place to start. "Can.. Can we talk ? It's kind of important, so.." Tenko asked nervously, hoping to get a yes. "....Sorry, Tenko.. I have to start getting our stuff together for later, and besides, I'm not that good at advice or comfort if that's what you're looking for. I'm sorry." Maki rejected, sighing. "We can talk later if you really need to, but you always have the rest of the family, right ?" She gave her a warm smile, trying to encourage her a little bit. "..Yeah, I guess.." Tenko forced out a smile. She didn't wanna talk to her direct family about this, but she was desperate because she kept beating herself up over it. "..Nghh- that's fine.. I'll go ask the others later.. Thanks, anyway.." Tenko chuckled, trying to brush off her feelings. 

"I'll.. I'll go help you prepare stuff then, I guess.." Tenko sighed, getting up. "Oh, thanks.." Maki thanked her, kind of needing the help anyways. Tenko and Maki then made their way to the Garage, where they began to find their roller skates and other stuff. 

Back with Kaito, he was at the apartment he and Shuichi owned, playing with his daughter, Kumi. "And then KABOOOMMM !!! A star exploded !!" Kaito said to her while sitting on the ground of the living room, explaining how stars worked. Shuichi looked over at him, as he was watching from the couch. "Haha, I don't think Kumi understands what you're saying, Kaito.." Shuichi chuckled, looking at him. "Eh, whaddya mean ? Of course she understands ! She's smart like you ! And besides, I've been teaching her ALL about the solar system !" Kaito responded, a huge smile on his face, the smile Shuichi couldn't resist. "Mmph... Alright, then.." Shuichi smiled and blushed at how adorable he was at the moment, getting onto his phone. Kaito kept on rambling on to Kumi about the solar system, Shuichi listening from the sofa. 

Suddenly, Kaito's phone buzzed, breaking the rant Kaito was doing. "Ah- it's probably mine." Kaito groaned, getting up and heading over to the table where his phone was, and read the text that got sent to him. "Oh ! Dad and papa want us to come with them to go skating with them later !" Kaito smiled, looking up at Shuichi (who was already looking at him). "Ah, really ? That'd be nice !- ...If we're not bringing Kumi, we could find a babysitter.." Shuichi mumbled. "No need ! I'm sure it'd be nice for everyone to see Kumi again ! They love her !!!" Kaito smiled at his daughter, chuckling. Shuichi sighed, and didn't wanna argue. Besides, Kumi could learn how to skate, and she'd have fun. Either way.. He'd get to meet Kaito's siblings again and hang out with them, and he himself would enjoy being out. Away from work and all that on his day off.  

What's the worst that could happen while everyone was out ?
