Chapter 21: Inside the Mind of Rosechu Part 1

A sound of wind sang its calm song over an empty pink field. The world itself felt comforting and warm. Like an environment where you could be lazy and feel completely safe.

Rookie's eyes started to open. He couldn't make out what anything was at first but noticed that the sky was pink. He felt that he was in a very soft place, like he was on a bed. "What... just... happened. Where am I?"

Rookie sat up and rubbed his eyes when he picked up his glasses. When he blinked a few times he took a good look at his surroundings.

He found himself sitting on top of a pink cloud. Almost nothing was around him. But he found a light blue speck just ahead of him. When Rookie's vision cleared, he noticed the light pink aura making the spec more clear on who it was.

The wolf quickly got up and ran over to his best friend frantically. He didn't know whether she was ok or not after the fight she just had but he wanted to check up on her. When he got there, he collapsed on his knees and tried to pick the hybrid up in his arms.

"SNT... can you hear me?" Rookie begged her. He was slightly shaking her awake.

"Ugg..." The hybrid slightly opened her eyes to the wolf embracing her in her arms. "Rookie?" In that moment, the aura from SNT's special power was at its strongest. Rookie couldn't help himself from blushing. The two hearts from the both of them were in sync with each other, like a slow song was playing in between them.

"Um... Rookie?" SNT caught a curious look on her face, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

There was a moment of silence from the wolf for a few seconds. That was when Rookie snapped back into reality. "OH!" he proceeded to drop the hybrid on top of the cloud by accident. SNT landed on her face. When Rookie realised the mistake he made he checked in. "Are you ok?"

"Yeah... I think so." SNT admitted. "Surprisingly, I don't feel anything after that battle."

"Really?" Rookie asked. "You took quite the beating. The Princess didn't know if you would be able to handle that or not."

"Yeah... last time I fought something like that was with Magi-Chan." the chimera remembered. She turned on her back and sat up. "I didn't know if I could pull it off but... I guess thanks to her help. I didn't have to go and take drastic measures at least." SNT rubbed her scrunchy. She felt a small spark of electricity enter her gloves and into her arm but it didn't really affect her. "Other than that... where are we anyway?"

Rookie and her look around the area. It was the first time that SNT was able to get a good chance to look around themselves. They noticed the pink desert of clouds surrounding them. Almost nothing was in sight.

"I have no idea where we are." Rookie admitted.

SNT closed her eyes to think to herself, that was when she came to the sudden realization. She touched her back, then she touched above her to confirm her suspicions.

"Um... what are you doing?" Rookie asked.

"Are... are we dead?" SNT asked. She got up on her feet and looked away from Rookie. "Can you confirm for me if I have wings and a halo?"

"Um... SNT, you don't have that." answered Rookie.

SNT looked toward her friend. "Maybe all of those rumors are really true. Heaven isn't as advertised."

All of a sudden, the two of them hear a small playful laugh coming from behind them. Both of them face towards the noise to notice the chuckling figure standing before them. SNT recognised it as Amy at first, but that was when her tail came up to reveal that it was Rosechu before them. But something was very off about her. But at the same time she was a little off for a while. She was wearing a green dress with a blue stripe going through the middle of her.
