Chapter 1

Danielle pov:

"Okay everyone welcome back to station 19" Chandra is standing at the end of the table and everyone has started screaming. "This year we will have a lot of new characters and some series regulars, so lets get going" She says happily and sits down into her seat. I can feel my eyes looking around the room to find her. Finally I do, her long brown hair looks even more beautiful and that shouldn't be possible. She looks up from her paper and my eyes meet hers, she smiles I have been waiting to see that smile since we finished last season.

"Danielle!" I look away from Stef and see everyone looking at me and then I realize that it's my line. I read and then I hear a little voice from the end of the room. Some people start awing at her, but I get a little scared she looks just like I did but I say nothing and keep doing the scene. After we are done with the table read I can finally get a good look at her and just as I am about to walk over to her I can feel a hand on my back. I turn around and see Stef standing right there.

"Hi Bella" I feel myself smile wide and almost scare myself with how fast I just grip on to her, I can feel myself getting a little scared that I maybe was to much but when I pulled away she just standing there smiling. "So guess who is a series regular!!" She says almost in a whisper I can't help it but start jumping but then I see her again. She has blond hair and blue eyes just like I do.

"Can you wait here I will be back in just a second" I ask Stef and she just returns with a nod I started walking over to the girl. She is standing alone packing her things down.

"Hi" I say wanting to make a good impression. "I'm Danielle I play Maya Bishop on the show" I take out my hand and she shakes it.

"Hello I'm Alexa but you can call me Alex for short. I play Ocean" She is so calm. I stand there for a while trying to figure out her age but end up just asking.

"Wait this might sound dumb but how old are you?" She looks up at me but this time with a little hint of fear in her eyes. She quickly looks away and back up again this time with no fear.

"I'm seven" I look at her in shock "You know I see that face a lot apparently I look older"

"Yeah I would have said like ten but also you talk like a 15 year old" I say and wait for her little laugh before laughing myself. "So where is your parents?" She looks up at me this time the only thing I see is fear.

"Uhhmmm.... I walked here by myself" She looks up at me and I see a tear slip out of her eyes. I can feel myself get scared of how much she reminded me of myself.

"Okay do you need a ride home cause I can drive you" I choose that it's the best option not to talk about the tear that just left her eye and she smiles happy at that.

"No it's okay I'm just gonna walk home, it's only like 5 minutes" She is almost whispering by the end of the sentences. I get a little freaked out by a 7 year old walking alone in the traffic so i quickly make a decision.

"Then I'm gonna walk you home just make sure you get home safely" I say not even making it a question just as she is about to say something against it I see her eyes looking behind me. 

"Hi" Stefania says with her cheeks all the way up in her eyes. "I'm Stefania but call me Stef" she shakes Alexa's hand.

"Alexa but call me Alex" Fear is filling her eyes again and all I want to so is go and hug her but know that wont be a good idea. I'm just standing there as I see them talking. 

"Bye see you tomorrow then" I hear Stef say oblivious to the rest of there conversation.

"Bye" Me and Alex says it almost at the same time. "Shall we go?" I ask her seeing her looking at me almost rolling her eyes.

"Fine"
